Don't send your love one's here they leave the door open to anyone that wants to come in they can't protect your love one's any body can come in and have them sign any papers no one watches out for them there all in danger the staff let's who ever in and they can holler at the people there and they do nothing so if you want your love one's to be safe don't send them there far warning

A staff who cares and wants what is best for the residence. They have wonderful activities for everyone to enjoy. The feeling is everyone genuinely cares. The facility is clean and inviting to everyone living there and families visiting.

Please do not send your loved ones to Camelot of Broussard. If you already have someone in their care, I urge you to install cameras and visit often. I feel compelled to speak out for those elderly residents who may not have someone to protect them. While at Camelot my mother received inadequate care. The verbal abuse, being left dirty for hours, falls every other day attempting to get to the restroom to change herself to CNA's refusing to help her in and out of bed are just a few of the issues. I have lots of video footage of this abuse and neglect. The level of care provided is unacceptable. Thankfully, my mother is now in a safe environment where her needs are genuinely met. Camelot of Broussard, however, continues to fall short of basic standards of care. I share my story not only to bring awareness to the issues we faced but also to urge authorities to hold such facilities accountable. I hope that, by speaking out, change can come to ensure dignity and quality care for all residents.

This is by far the Worst Nursing Home that my Brother had been in. Not medical help when needed. Not baths are showers. I had to go clean my brother. Rashes unbelievable. Not med's when needed for his bottom parts. Sores cuts etc not tended to. Do Not bring your loved ones to this place. I cried many times seeing my baby Brother in pain. Many Many UTI'S he got cause of no nurse to listen to him. Finally Covid--Death. Then I went get his things and so many of them GONE!!! THEY STOLE HIS BELONGINGS. EVEN THE ONESI BOUGHT. OHHH HIS CREDIT CARD FROM HIS BANK GONE.... HIS MONEY IN HIS SAFE GONE.... MY TEARS LIVE ON And ON...If you love your people don't go There.!!!!

I did not know a medical facility could refuse care, but evidently they can. So just know going in, this facility could reject acceptance of your loved one. They did my mother and with no explanation. This is no way to support a community.
