Regency House of Alexandria-Level 3

From the First phone call inquiring about availability until the day we checked out, we could not have asked for the staff to have been more accommodating in any situation. No one ever “passed the buck“. Someone always took responsibility and the matter was taken care of and almost always with a smile. All staff from admissions, administrator, nursing directors and case managers to nurses, physical therapists and certified nursing assistants on the floor were easily approachable and always accommodating. We could not have asked to have been treated any nicer. This was a first time visit to a skilled care facility for any of our family members and everyone at Regency House made this transition so much easier for all of us. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did to get my father back on his feet again.

My sister has been at Regency for almost four years. Since the former owner sold early this year patient care continues to fall and no one appears to be in charge or concerned. This is all while the cost of care continues to rise, typical when you have a large care provider located out of town as the new owner. It’s just a matter of time until this place starts to see a considerable reduction in clients.

The whole management team including the owner PATTY SMALL…. Horrible.. rude & she had to rely on her workers because she has no nursing experience then turn around & let’s go of all the good ones !!! My mom was there & it didn’t take long for us to pack her up & get her out of there. If you love your FAMILY do not leave them at Regeny House….oh and after my rant Patty sold the Regency because of too many lawsuits… research that information!!!!! No STARS for this establishment!!!!!!

This is the second time a family member of mine has been a Resident at Regency House. Both experiences have been, and are excellent. The Administration is available and considerate and extremely knowledgeable. The medical and Nursing Staff are super. They go beyond job training to care and respond with compassion and kindness. Every person who cares for my family member goes beyond expectations to see he is beautifully maintained. And my family member even requests seconds at meals!! I am grateful beyond words for the care given at Regency House

Regency House is a wonderful facility to place your loved one at, whether it is long or short term. The staff, from housekeepers to Administration, is very compassionate and they truly care about the residents' health and well-being. The facility is very well kept and clean. I highly recommend Regency House to everyone that I know.
