WEATHERLY INN

I was here on Wednesday, 12/3 for their annual holiday market/craft fair. This is a very beautiful, clean facility. It was decorated for the holidays, but would have been beautiful without the decorations anyway! I saw several times where staff members interacted with the residents: always in a very sweet manner! They always knew the resident's name and things about them! I was telling one employee about a very sweet resident I interacted with at my craft booth, and they immediately knew who I was talking about. If I ever need to find a facility like this for my parents, this would be a TOP choice!

If I could go higher than 5 stars I would. My parents have been at the Weatherly for over 3 years now. Community and Family is how I would describe the culture and the care that has been provided by the team there. The community of residents watches out for and supports each other as they go through the life events of the twilight years. My father passed recently, leaving my mother behind. The ladies of the Weatherly have come alongside her. Sharing in her grief and encouraging her to continue through the activities provided. The Weatherly team has been an extended family. The feeling I get, is they consider what they do is more than duty of employment it is sincere personal caring for the individual resident. With my father’s passing the condolences and memories they have communicated are evidence they truly care on a personal level. Finding a place that is supportive and provides a place where your parent or elderly loved one can thrive can be daunting. We found one at the Weatherly.

This place is the BEST!! I can't say enough good things about the Inn (as my mom calls it) My friend Jenny Krzemien with Concierge Care Advisors introduced us to Monica Richardson at the Weatherly Inn Tacoma. Since my mom moved in I say she is youthing not ageing. Monica and her dog Berkeley🐾 made the move in feel very welcoming. The event director Terra and her helpers, Trish and Amy make all the events fun and safe. Also Melinda at the Wellness center makes sure all the tenants are getting their needs met, even if you live in independent living. I know my mom is taken care of. I can't end this post without mentioning one of the BEST waitstaff, in my opinion, Tammy! She will make you laugh and if you are not showing up to your meals, she will give you a very loving shack down to get to the dinning room. Not a single person at the Inn has disappointed us. I am very thankful that I had the resources to find this loving group. Check them out before choosing. You won't be disappointed.
