The care and assistance my mother gets here is superior. The team works hard to make sure that the she is safe, and so are the other clients. I know my mother is safe here and cared for and that's a relief.

I highly recommend The Golden Retreat Care Home. I couldn’t be happier with the facility and their staff. They are so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. My Grandmother has a special diet and they do a wonderful job making sure she has all her favorites. They spend extra one on one time with her to keep her happy and positive. The home is clean, bright and well maintained. The owners are easy to talk with and keep me informed of my Grandma’s health. They keep up with all her meds and communicate well with her doctors. My grandma deserves to be treated kindly and with respect and they do a great job.

Beware this care home...after our parents lived there for a year we got a 20% increase notice for the room they were in or a 14% raise to move them into another room. One of our parents is in hospice care. We received this notice along with an email about how the owner is operating at a deficit, 2 weeks before Christmas and 2 weeks after we had just visited from out of state. Only after we found a new care home were we offered to move them to the other room for the same rate. After doing some research a 3 to 5 percent increase is the normal rate increase per year. We had to book another trip and relocate them. The employees repeatedly bad mouthed us to our parents and caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. Sometimes things happen for a reason and we are so glad they have moved into a much more professionally run care home
