The Care Givers and Owners provide exceptional care for our Mother, Marty Hoover. We know, when we leave, after a visit, the great care continues and is not an exaggerated front for our benefit. The coordination between staff and Kindred Hospice is wonderful. Communication with Good Old Days staff is excellent and very quick. Holidays and Birthdays are celebrated! The residences are happy and chat with you if you take a moment to acknowledge them. The extra care is very much appreciated as it is difficult to leave a loved one in someone else's care. I know in my heart I could not give our Mother this kind of care and love without quitting my career and putting my family on hold. Now, I can enjoy the time we have remaining and know when I leave she has attentive and reliable care. Thank you. JW
Response from the owner
Hi Jeanette, thank you for your kind words. I already let the team know about how much you appreciate your mom staying with us and it makes us all very proud. We do enjoy having Marty with us and we are all looking forward to many more happy days with us.

Look at her smile! The home is nice, the staff is amazing. Having to put a family member into a care facility is one of the most difficult decisions for a family to make. We are thankful to have found such a wonderful place for our beloved Gigi/ Grandma/Mom.
Response from the owner
Thank you for your kind words. She has settled in quite nicely and feels right at home and considers everybody family by now. What a joy and honor to have her in our home.

This facility sounds great but if you are looking for placement, they do not accept Medicaid Group Home Waiver. This information should be available to Aging and Disability Services so they do not get put on the list for those looking for places under Medicaid.
Response from the owner
Hi Isabelle, Thank you for your review. We are a small, family run business, and just can not afford to accept Medicaid. We were licensed for Medicaid for a while; however, it added too much overhead costs to our family business, so we decided to turn in our Medicaid license as required by the State almost a year ago. Unfortunately, and out of our control, we continue to exist on various lists. Like in your case, it just takes a simple phone call to us that will solve this question. We are very proud of all the great reviews that we have gotten through out the years and I would be happy to show you around our homes, so you can see for yourself why families are so grateful that we take such good care of their loved ones. All the best, Dietmar
