My mother lived her last few days at A Joyful Journy, and I cannot say enough about the outstanding care they gave Mom. Everyone there was exceptionally kind, compassionate, professional, and loving.

We are so incredibly grateful for the care and compassion shown by the staff at this assisted living community, especially Amanda. She truly went above and beyond for our family member. Amanda treated her with so much dignity, gentleness, and kindness. She was attentive, patient, and always made sure she was as comfortable as possible and had everything she needed. You can tell this isn’t just a job for her, she genuinely cares, and that meant everything to our family. She also took the time to communicate with us, reassure us, and help us understand what was happening, and brought us so much peace. We will never forget the compassion she showed. The entire staff was wonderful, and the facility itself was clean, calm, and welcoming. We are forever thankful for the love and care our family member got here. I would wholeheartedly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be treated like family.

Joyful Journey was such an amazing home for my grandmother. Amanda is so on top of everything and works so hard to keep every aspect of her resident’s day-to-day needs met and their lives in perfect harmony. The staff is unmatched and take their caregiving duties very seriously and with so much pride and grace. We are so fortunate to have had so much love around my grandmother and I will be forever grateful for the dignity, comfort and peace they provided to her and to our family as she transitioned from this world.

I cannot say enough great things about Joyful Journeys. My stepmother of over 40 years had lived independently until a sudden illness led to hospitalization and made it impossible for her to manage safely at home. The transition was heartbreaking for her. To make matters worse, the facilities recommended by the hospital felt cold, depressing, and seemed more like places to wait out one's remaining days. It was disheartening and unacceptable. Then—thankfully—we found Joyful Journeys. It has been a complete game-changer. Amanda and her team are not only incredibly capable and well-trained, but they’ve treated both my stepmother and me like family. Their guidance and warmth have made a difficult situation manageable, even hopeful. The home is designed in a single-family style (my words, not theirs), and it genuinely feels like a true home—not an institution. With a maximum of six residents per location and a tight-knit clinical team, every individual is known by name. They learn each resident’s preferences and go out of their way to accommodate them in daily life as they deliver care 24/7. That attention and care restored my stepmother’s sense of dignity and hope. She now feels supported, valued, and seen. I couldn’t give Joyful Journeys a stronger recommendation. They set a gold standard in care, and I sincerely hope their model becomes the norm nationwide.

This is absolutely a first class facility and I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate the care my parents received here.
