A Nurturing Touch was a blessing for my mother. She was treated with the utmost respect and honor. Vicky, the owner always made sure my mom’s well-being was at the forefront of her stay there. Her staff: Myra, Mercy & Ann are truly amazing people also. When my mom became sick, they were always there to help her feel comfortable as possible and quickly addressed any health or emotional issues that arose. Moreover, they always kept me informed of my mother’s condition and quickly responded to any changes. My mom said she felt blessed to be there and would tell me often how much she appreciated all the staff,. In addition, Vicky’s son, Kyle was always so accommodating with any concerns that I had concerning my mother and made sure they were always addressed. He was also very kind. In short, all staff at A Nurturing Touch were remarkably professional in every way possible. I strongly recommend A Nurturing Touch for anyone with a loved one needing the best of care.♥️ Sincerely, Scott Naslund

I heard about Nurturing Touch from two women who had their mothers at Nurturing Touch. They had nothing but wonderful things to say about it. I visited and was impressed. I had my mom less than a mile away at a place that needed to be shutdown and shutdown it was shortly after I moved my mom to Nurturing Touch. This place my mom was at, turned over caregivers monthly. This was confusing to my mom and to me. I had reasons to sue this previous place but am not litigious. My mom was at Nurturing Touch for 7 years and had the same caregivers the whole time. She was treated so well and the home was always impeccably clean. If you need a place for your loved one, don’t hesitate to contact Vicky the owner to see if she has an opening. One other thing, I could visit any time…and my sister and I did. Always welcome.

A Nurturing Touch in Oak Park deserves a 5 star + rating. My review starts with the end of the story. My mother lived at A Nurturing Touch for six years until she passed away two months after her 100th birthday. My family and I feel so grateful that she was able to spend the last years of her life in a wonderful facility surrounded by amazing caregivers. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The owner, Vicky, and the staff, including Mercy, were always so kind, caring, helpful and responsive. As my mom’s Alzheimer’s disease entered the final stages she received compassionate round-the-clock care. Since I live just a few blocks away from the facility, my visits to my mom were almost daily. I was able to observe how much dedication and quality of care was given to all the residents. I will always be grateful to Vicky and her staff for the love and care my mom received.

A number of years ago my mother was a resident of Nurturing Touch for approximately 4 years. She had Alzheimer’s Dementia and was not always very cooperative or pleasant. The staff treated her with such patience and love until she passed away while on hospice care surrounded by loving caregivers. A year or so later, we needed help with my dad. At 89 he had his leg amputated and needed assistance with daily activities. Nurturing Touch cared for him for about 3 1/2 years until he passed away. I can’t say enough good things about this facility, the owner and caregivers. They go above and beyond to accommodate the individuals needs and the needs of the family members. They are loving, compassionate and outgoing and I never had to worry about the care that my parents received. I would highly recommend this facility.

my mother received xlnt care from A Nurturing Touch. The home was spotless, and I was able to visit anytime of day. My mother always smelled fresh and her nails and hair were kept neat and clean. The cost was very reasonable. When her life was nearing an end, she passed away peacefully at the home under Hospice supervision. I highly recommend A Nurturing Touch to those seeking professional care for their elderly family members.
