I cannot say enough wonderful things about Abbey. From the very first day, it was clear that this is more than just a place to live—it is truly a home. Before my mom moved in, they asked what she liked to do and even bought games she likes to play. The staff provides exceptional care with genuine kindness, patience, and respect, always going above and beyond to ensure every resident feels safe, valued, and loved. Alaina and many of the others are amazing. So thoughtful, caring, and hardworking. One of the highlights is the incredible home-cooked meals. Each dish is prepared with care and tastes like it came straight from a family kitchen—warm, comforting, and delicious. Meals are clearly made with both nutrition and enjoyment in mind, and they bring residents together in a way that feels joyful and creates a sense of community. What truly sets this facility apart is the family atmosphere. The caregivers don’t just do their jobs—they build meaningful relationships, treat residents like family, and create an environment filled with warmth, laughter, and compassion. There is a deep sense of community here, where everyone is known, cared for, and respected. For anyone searching for a place where their loved one will receive outstanding care in a loving, home-like setting, Abbey is an absolute gem. It brings peace of mind knowing your loved one is not just cared for, but truly at home. I always will be grateful for the love and care Abbey provided my mom. It gave me peace of mind to know when I visited my mom, I wasn't going to be dealing with problems. And, it gave me so much peace to know I was leaving her in place where she was going to be loved and respected.

I would highly recommend Abbey Manor. They are very responsive, positive, caring, respectful and take extra efforts to make my husband as comfortable as possible and address all his needs. The staff is always available for updates and treat us as family. We are very happy and thank God for Abbey Manor.

The staff at Abbey Manor have done everything to make Dads new home as comfortable and welcoming as possible. He quickly became part of the family there and what they have done has been so far above and beyond expectations it cannot be fully described. Melissa and her crew provide efficient loving care even when it has not been easy. They just organized a parade to celebrate his 104th birthday. Building 1!

Our dad is a resident of Abbey Manor building 1 in Elkton. The staff, led by Melissa, has been so patient and supportive in caring for him. They recently went out of their way to celebrate his 104th birthday. He had such a wonderful day! We are so grateful to have our father in a home that truly cares for their residents.

I cannot fully express how comforting and blessed I am to have my stepmother at Abbey Manor. From the moment I stepped through the doors to my last visit with my stepmother, I know she is loved and well taken care of every moment of the day. If you have a loved one who needs around the clock care, Abbey Manor is the place to choose. I thank God every day for the wonderful staff and clean facility. Building 1 is the Best!!!
