ABBINGTON OF POWELL

We moved mom to Abbington in May. She was naturally nervous but the staff there made her feel welcome. Now she absolutely loves it. She's made several new friends and is quite content in her little apartment. My husband and I had lunch there today and it was really good.

We are so happy that we found Abbington of Powell for my Mom. The atmosphere is very warm and homey and the staff and residents have been very welcoming. Mom’s studio style apartment was completely refreshed and ready to move her furniture in. Mom is very happy here and feels very safe and well cared for. Mom is looking forward to making more friends and enjoying the many activities offered here!

We are extremely happy with our decision for Mom at Abbington of Powell. Leann and her team are wonderful, compassionate, attentive and engaged. The continuity of caregivers enables Mom to get to know and trust her care providers, and she feels safe and well cared for and now participates much more than in previous AL. The facility is lovely, right sized and situated in a nice area. We highly recommend Abbington of Powell.

Moving a parent into assisted living can be a challenging experience. Abbington of Powell eased the transition in many ways. The room was bright and newly renovated, and the administrative team AND residents were kind and friendly, welcoming Mom like family. They were patient in dealing with our unusual circumstances, and showed empathy as we worked through health difficulties. Abbington of Powell proved to be a great decision for us.

I was stuck in a very hard situation not too long ago. I was in a rush to find a reliable, honest and clean facility for my grandmother- and Abbington of Powell Is just that place! Kim, Jodie and Katie did everything to help ease my mind when we were going through this transition. The facility is very well maintained! The Staff is more than helpful with residents (as I’ve witnessed multiple times while visiting). And most importantly, every staff member is quick to greet you with a smile and make sure you are satisfied with any needs pertaining to your loved one. I am beyond grateful for the compassion and hard work that Abbington of Powell has provided. If you are looking for a home away from home for your loved one- Abbington of Powell is the destination.
