Abbotswood at Irving Park Assisted Living

My father lived at Abbotswood for the past 3 years until his recent passing. He enjoyed his time there, friends made, and staff. I can tell you that as a family member, I’ve been treated wonderfully - even after our time there. I cannot recommend enough.

The staff here is very pleasant and helpful. I know my Aunt is being taken care in the best possible way. Mariah is wonderful- I appreciate the care and respect you show to your patients.

My Dad and Mother in law are both residents at Abbottswood. It’s been great for my MIL - she has her independent back that she lost after the death of my FIL. Church, friends, activities - even though she is “winding down” she is living a much more full and independent life. My Dad has not adjusted as well. He misses his home, and private life. He does not choose to participate in any activities. But - when he got Covid, there was plenty of care to support him. He also tripped and ended up in a back brace for 6 weeks - and again, care was there for him as needed. We are very happy they moved to Abbottswood.

I am with Seniors helping Seniors and I have been coming there since May. The staff at abbotswood are top notch. I have observed staff from the front desk to servers and all those in between be so polite to residents. I have witnessed them go out of their way to assist a resident. When it is my time, and if I could afford it, I would love to be in this type of atmosphere. Keep up the good work you are all amazing.

We've had family members at Abbotswood the last four years. The entire team is service-oriented and remarkably consistent. The outstanding leadership provided by the Executive Director is reflected in every function - administration, food service, maintenance, activities...everything! We thoroughly vetted options in Greensboro before choosing Abbotswood. We know we made the right choice.
