My uncle was transferred to the home on Friday afternoon and passed Sunday morning. The team there were nice and seem to take care of their patients well, based on the short time my uncle was there. My low rating reflect the unfairness of being charged the full price of $2,500 even though he was there less than 3 days. The owner deducted $500 but the charge was still steep for 3 days stay. We could have used those funds to pay for funeral expenses.

I am a professional senior advocate who's in assisted living communities almost daily. The staff of Abella is kind, thoughtful, and professional. The care given by employees is thorough and the home is one of the cleanest.
