Acclaim at East Beach

Acclaim at East Beach is an excellent Independent Living Experience. All the residents are very friendly and considerate of each other and make you feel welcome and part of the family. The entire staff are friendly and worry about each other and all the residents. Making your experience worth staying here. I looked at multiple Independent Living apartments before selecting Acclaim at East Beach as my location to move in and begin this new part of my life.

My family and I had a very disappointing experience with the receptionist, Michelle. As we were leaving and stopped to get some water from the lobby, she looked at us, shook her head, and said “alrighty then” in a dismissive tone. Her demeanor made it seem as though guests were not welcome to use the water, and the way she acted came across as unprofessional and potentially discriminatory. Someone with that attitude should not be working as a receptionist, let alone in a place that serves seniors who deserve kindness and respect.

Welcoming from the first day I arrived. The staff have been most accommodating. My one-bedroom apartment is larger than my two bedrooms in another complex. The views of the Little Creek Marina are spectacular and the sounds of the lines tinkling against the mast heads is calming. There is a boardwalk here that goes around the marina so I could look at the ships and boats when I'm walking. Food is good. We have a restaurant where a chef prepares our food. Activities are plentiful and there is provided transportation to the doctor's office, the grocery store and many more attractions. I'm enjoying my life here.

I moved my mom in just a few days ago. Tony and Ginny were outstanding. They explained in detail all of the facilities rules and amenities my mom will have. I felt no pressure and truly felt they have her best interest at heart. She can have her little dog, her car, in home therapy and meals cooked for her. What an amazing place to call home. It's clean, safe, full of life and daily activities. Looking forward to seeing my mom shine, make new friends and really enjoy a quality life at Acclaim.

My Mom who is 84 has been at Acclaim for 4 months now. Her quality of life has increased immensely. The studio apartment is bright and airy with great views of the marina. She has so many activity options to stay busy and just loves it. She has made many friends and is even sharing her sewing skills with other residents. I would definitely recommend Acclaim to family and friends.
