ADAMS ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY

BEWARE❗️ I do NOT recommend this home or the Lubbock location either. We had a terrible experience at both. It shouldn't be labeled an Assisted Living, it is definitely more of a Nursing Home. The over medicating of the elderly residents at these homes is insane. There is little to do for these folks and the food is worse than an elementary cafeteria. The prices are much too high for what you get! Do not believe the lip service you get when you go to talk to them! I could go into soooo much more detail, but will refrain.....for now.

I will ALWAYS be forever grateful for Adam's House - for Tressa, Scott, and the amazing staff!! Adam's House has to be one of the top assisted living facilities in Lubbock. I will never be able to thank them enough. They helped us during a very difficult season. They were an answer to prayer for our family as we sought a safe place with quality care who could help us in caring for our dad. Tressa went above and beyond to make sure that his needs were met, he was well cared for, and he felt comfortable. Having an ostomy bag meant that he required extra help, which the staff always provided. The staff became family as they were always welcoming and intentional in building relationships with us. They knew his likes and dislikes as well as his sense of humor. The cooks would provide food to his liking - even putting honey on his ham. We tried to visit every day, but when we had to be out of town, we knew that he was being well cared for in every way possible. As we began to discuss the option of him returning home with home health care, dad made the decision to stay at Adam's House. That says it all - he felt safe, cared for, and in a place where he had community and relationships. Thank you, Adam's House, thank you!!! When anyone asks me if I know of a place, I am quick to mention Adam's House as a place to seriously consider.

There aren't enough positive words to express our gratitude to every person at Adams Assisted Living for the loving care our mother received while living there during the last year of her life. The family atmosphere truly made us feel like we were 'at home' every time we visited. The staff sincerely cares about the residents - providing warmth and concern, wonderful meals, fun activities, monthly birthday parties, on-site shopping experiences, and more. Making the decision to move a loved on into assisted living is often difficult, and I can say without reservation - this is a wonderful place and I cannot recommend it enough.

I am grateful each and every day for the love and care my mother received at Adams House. Tressa and her staff welcomed her with love and provided physical, emotional and spiritual support. It was so comforting to our family to know Mother was receiving the finest care offered in the Lubbock area. In addition, the staff was sensitive to our needs in the final stage of Mother's earthly journey as they loved and cared for us. The later years of life can be a trying time for you and your loved ones, Adams House will guide you through it with dignity and love.

Definitely a place I would recommend! After My Mom had fallen in a different retirement center, spent time in the hospital and it became time to move her to an Assisted Living, I got recommendations from a friend who had experience with Adams. They had ONE small room open! From the first time I spoke with the owner, Tressa, I knew Mom was in the right place. This Christian based facility has the most caring and compassionate staff that are skilled in memory care and all different levels of other needs. Mom never felt like she was an outsider, as she did in other large facilities. She called it home for many years, ultimately celebrating her 90th birthday with them. We even went through the pandemic with Adams! None of us knew what to expect but they were complete professionals and made it their priority to make sure our families were safe. Through moms many years at Adams, her requirements changed and this didn’t phase them ! They were not about to let her go somewhere else because she needed a little extra assistance. She was family, and they were her extended family. I take comfort knowing how invested the staff is! If you want your family member to have the best people around them , Adams Assisted Living is the place to be! We sure love them ❤️
