My daughter is currently resides at CHT, she is 57 years with several caregiving problems. The staff is very patient and keeps her comfortable as possible. They consistently keep an open communication with us about our daughter. i would highly recommend this facility.

My mother has been a resident since December 2024. She says she is happy, food is good and she is well taken care of. The Administrator, Veronica, and staff are kind, courteous and responsive. We are satisfied with her care.

This place is a joke primarily from the management! The staff is nice enough, but always seem short staffed to the point staff Is always too busy to help! The care is mediocre at best with what the staff seems to be working with and the place smells most of the time of urine and other things! Veronica the administrator, is very standoffish and seems to always have an excuse when questioned about why they can’t seem to prevent my mom from falling and getting bed sores! Honestly I regret being in my mother here and am in the process of finding her a better place to stay where the care will be better reflected! I would highly recommend not bringing your loved ones to such a place! The food varies on quality and is most the times left in their rooms unattended and the residents seem unaided in their eating! Also my mom’s teeth have gotten so bad from their lack of care! The residents continually fight due to lack of enough activities through the day and they’re constantly losing my mother’s clothes! I’ve seen cockroaches in my mother’s room as well, it’s just a zoo around here! Y

Citrus Heights Terrace failed to inform me or call an ambulance for my mom's fall at their facility in which she fractured her hip for 10 to 12 hours! (Time range due to conflicting stories about what time in the morning she fell.) Most of the caregivers are very nice but I don't think the staff are well trained. There were numerous problems while my mother was a resident there, including finding my mom in soiled Depends when I would arrive to visit, seeing other residents in wet pants, multiple residents, including my mom, having constant skin problems, personal items being lost including a lot of her clothes, residents' hygiene not being taken care of, one of my mom's medications being discontinued because they had trouble administering it (not a valid reason to discontinue someone's Rx!), the list goes on and on! It goes deeper than the Admin, I tried to get the Director, Robert Godfrey, involved but he didn't care to take any action. I also left a message for the owner of CiminoCare after my mom's fall in which she didn't receive proper attention, but he never even returned my call. When we moved her out we found that her mattress had an enormous urine stain on it. (It had a waterproof mattress cover when we took it in but that disappeared.) How sad to know that my mom was laying in her own urine for who knows how long. I would not put a loved one there ever again.

My father was a resident of Citrus Heights Terrace and I highly recommend their care home. My father had a terrible experience in another care home as well as a not much better experience in a board and care before arriving to Citrus Heights Terrace. There was a noticeable difference in him once he got to CH Terrace. He was happy and never once complained about various things like he did at his prior places. He was treated as if he was a family member and so were we. The care home is well kept and clean. All the employees were very caring and patient. Tina runs a great care home. I just wish we had found them sooner.
