I am writing with a full and deeply grateful heart to thank you for the extraordinary care, compassion, and humanity you have shown my mother since welcoming her into your community. She arrived at your doors after a truly horrendous experience at another facility—one that left our family shaken, guarded, and unsure if we could trust again. From the very first moments at Addington Place, those fears began to soften. The warmth and dignity with which my mother was received made it clear that she was not simply being admitted, but genuinely welcomed. Alexis was nothing short of remarkable. Her efficiency, professionalism, and sense of urgency ensured that my mother’s transition was as smooth as it possibly could have been during an incredibly vulnerable time. She moved with calm purpose, and her competence brought immediate relief to our family. Knowing my mother was in such capable hands mattered more than I can fully express. Executive Director Maurizio Palombi was equally warm and welcoming, setting a tone of care and respect that was evident from the start. Leadership matters, and it is clear that the culture at Addington Place reflects compassionate, thoughtful guidance from the top. Because of my mother’s prior experience, our family came in carrying understandable fear and a deep need for reassurance. What ultimately brought us peace was witnessing—again and again—the gentle way caregivers spoke to my mother, treated her with patience, and showed her kindness in moments both big and small. Kailah telling my mother how beautiful she is is something we will never forget. A true testament to character is how someone treats another when they think no one is watching, and your caregivers exemplify that daily. I also want to recognize Chelsey, who has consistently been helpful, pleasant, and reassuring in her interactions. Her calm presence and willingness to assist never go unnoticed. Kayla and Dawana are truly exceptional—going above and beyond not only for my mother, but clearly for all of the residents. During my most recent visit, it was evident that their care extends far beyond task completion; it is rooted in genuine concern and respect for the people they serve. Robbin deserves special recognition as well. She is warmth personified. When I call, she answers with patience and care, and on the occasions when my call hasn’t been immediately returned, she has personally gone back to the unit to let staff know I am trying to reach my mother. That level of attentiveness is rare, and it has meant the world to our family. What stands out most about Addington Place is this: your staff behaves as if they are caring for their own parents. There is tenderness, dignity, and real humanity woven into everyday interactions. That is not something that can be taught alone—it speaks to the values of the people you hire and the environment you cultivate. Thank you for restoring our faith at a moment when it had been badly shaken. Thank you for treating my mother with dignity, kindness, and love. Dad has been receiving outstanding care and such loving attention. Everyone we've met who works here are friendly and so kind and caring. There is always some activity going on to keep him active. We are very satisfied and pleased that Dad is here.

My mother was a resident for three years. The hands on staff was very caring, the owning corporation was cold and mean. We paid out of pocket for 3 years and often paid ahead. When mom passed quickly they refused to return the advanced payment insisting we did not give 30 days notice!!!! They basically stole $4000 from the family. It has made a very difficult time even harder. Avoid this place, it is run by thieves.

Addington Place of Northville is the best thing that has happened to myself and my husband since he moved in May of 2025. The staff is VERY attentive to all of the patients and their needs. If a concern is brought up to them about anything it is addressed immediately. Every staff member I have met shows nothing but pure respect to myself and address all of my husbands needs. I would recommend this wonderful place to take care of your loved one.

Addington Place at Northville has been a godsend for our family! Everyone, from the management staff to the medical and care staff, has been very communicative, caring, professional and quick to address any issues. Activities are varied, fun and designed specifically to engage the memory care residents, and, occasionally, their families! They provided real peace of mind about having my mom there. A true blessing for both of us during a time that can be so stressful for everyone. I highly recommend this wonderful organization to anyone who is looking for an option for their loved one who needs memory care.
