We recently had a family member with Alzheimer's disease stay in Assisted Living at Aegis Moraga for a month of respite care. It was a wonderful experience! Lin (life enrichment director) and her staff, including team member Michael, kept him engaged with lots of different activities and outings and sent us regular pictures and stories of his adventures. They also facilitated zoom calls for him from out of state family. Sabrina, the kind and thoughtful person at the Concierge desk, assisted with his visitors and kept him safe when he tried to check out on his own. Karl in the laundry went above and beyond to do his washing, even when clothes weren't in the hamper! Everyone was professional, compassionate, caring and helpful through his stay. We were all very impressed with the quality and depth of care he and the other residents received!

Two doctors stated that if my health didn't improve in two weeks, I should be referred to hospice. My wife found Aegis in Moraga and staying here my condition has reversed 100% to normal. I highly recommend this facility for care, concern and recovery. The staff gave me the hope of a new life.

My Mother-In-Law is in the memory care wing, and has been for over a year. We have had a great experience with everyone involved with her care, and would highly recommend Aegis for someone looking for care for their loved ones. My husband and I constantly worried about my MIL and FIL when they were living alone in their large home; we now sleep very well knowing the caregivers are kind and take excellent care of all residents. The staff are truly compassionate decent people. My FIL moved into Aegis shortly after my MIL and he lived out his remaining time surrounded by a great community. While the costs are high, it is well worth the care the residents receive. I feel very fortunate to have a wonderful facility so close to our home. Thank you Stephanie, Tianna and all the wonderful caregivers.

My Mom moved into Aegis Moraga about a month ago and I could not feel more relieved and pleased with her new living situation. Stephanie Eukel was instrumental in helping our family make this big decision. With great kindness and understanding, she walked us through the conversations that needed to happen for us to decide that Aegis was right for us. We never felt pressured by her in the process, only supported. Thankfully, my Mom was on board with the idea and our visits to Aegis only served to solidify that it would be a great environment for her. My brother, my Mom, and I all visited multiple times, at one point staying for 4 hours and having lunch, playing Bingo and Word in a Word, etc. We all had a blast and realized what a supportive and inviting place it is. Once my Mom moved in, she was supported in getting settled. Lin Chin was instrumental in helping that happen. Lin is the Life Enrichment Director and she is just a lovely person - very positive, engaging, and kind. She immediately made my Mom feel welcomed and a part of the daily activities. One thing that concerned me was my Mom having people to dine with since she didn't know anyone. I shared my worries with Stephanie and Lin and the two of them were on it! They made sure that my Mom did not eat alone and through that, helped her initiate new friendships. We are about one month into her living at Aegis now and my Mom is doing fantastic. She quickly figured out which daily activities she wants to participate in and enjoys the outings, happy hours, and special events. My brother and I both love visiting my Mom there. We are very grateful we found Aegis Moraga.

My Dad has been treated so well at Aegis. He expresses his thankfulness every day! I also feel comfortable that they take such good care of his needs, and are very responsive to anything that he or I need. He also talks about the quality of the food. And we love the new Chef! It has been a blessing to have him at Aegis!
