AEGIS LIVING DANA POINT

Aegis Dana Point has been the soft landing our family desperately needed. Our family has been able to begin healing after a series of devastating losses. We are beyond grateful for the staff and the residents who have welcomed my mom into assisted living and my dad into memory care as well as our family. I highly recommend Aegis Dana Point to anyone even thinking about transitioning into a supportive community for their loved ones. If you are even thinking about it, it's time to check them out!

Aegis Living in Dana Point, Ca has been our mother's beautiful, caring and nurturing home for the last seven years. The staff has become like extended family to us. Our mother; when able to; commented on how much she liked living there and how nice everyone was. From the friendly greeting at the concierge in the lovely foyer to the attentive care providers warm exchanges, to the health technicians and nurses attentiveness and commitment, to the fun and energetic activity directors, to the General Manager who is always available to talk, did we mention they have a salon for hair and nails, and my mother was able to keep her dog there during his lifetime? Aegis has been a wonderful experience for all of us.

Aegis has been a wonderful place for my dad and step mom. They were supportive, understanding the needs of the family and were helpful in getting the care they required. My father passed shortly after he moved in and the staff at Aegis were kind and helpful in his last days there. My step mom is thriving well and the staff is patient with her progressive dementia, helping her to keep active and happy within the community. Couldn't have found a better place for them to call home!

Aegis has been amazing for both of our parents! Aegis has taken them in and the Aegis staff have become an extended family of support for our parents and for all of us siblings. Aegis made it possible for our parents to be together while also receiving the care they need. The memory care staff are kind, patient, unflappable and keep a calm, loving and steady supportive demeanor with all of the residents. All the staff have been so supportive of our father and keep his favorite reading material on hand in all of his favorite spots to sit and enjoy the sunlight. It is so sweet!!

We love Aegis of Dana Point for so many reasons. Both our parents are there, and moved in right before Covid. They were safe, and secure, during that trying time. We had enormous peace of mind that they were in a loving, caring environment, with all their needs met. They love the food, the stimulating activities, the talented entertainers, and we all love the staff. There’s only the highest quality team of Med techs, LVNs, cooks, maintenance, and admin staff. When it’s hard for other businesses to find qualified people, Aegis retains theirs because it’s such a wonderful environment. We give it 5 stars, and recommend it without reservation for anyone considering care for their loved ones. Aegis has been an essential partner in navigating the waters of care with expertise, resources, and compassion during the aging process.
