AEGIS OF MARYMOOR

"You had me at hello". We knew this was the place for mom after touring multiple other eastside assisted living facilities. On the initial tour we were introduced to a warm and authentic staff. The tour took us to all the features you might see on other tours, but this place is unique including a secluded patio that is part landscaped garden and part party central and a historic 50's(?) era projector outside the movie theater. Mom moved in. She participates in exercise class every day, does arts and crafts, does book reports in book club, and enjoys three meals a day with her table mates in the dining room. It is a tight community. You may need different levels of care during your residency, but families will be guided through it, and the care will be as good as you can get anywhere. Aegis Living Marymoor is highly recommended.

Aegis Marymoor is a five out of five! Right when you walk in the door you are greeted with smiling faces and interesting artwork. The residents of this community are happy to be here and it is apparent they are well taken care of. Thank you Aegis Living Marymoor!

Writing on behalf of a nursing school. Our class had the opportunity to come to Aegis Marymoor for their first Older Adult clinical rotation. The students had a wonderful experience learning from such friendly and welcoming staff. While clinical rotations can be intimidating for some, all the students felt very comfortable and engaged when interacting with the residents--I attribute a lot of this to the encouraging staff. Special thanks to Peter, Mohamed, Nick, Karla, Rosaline, Alejandra, Milia, and Natalie for being so helpful!
