I’m very pleased with the care my husband is receiving at ActivCare at Yorba Linda memory care facility. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The patients have daily scheduled activities and entertainment. I feel they have gone beyond my expectations to relax my husband and gain his trust.

My Dad has been a resident at ActivCare Yorba Linda for about 8 months. It is a fun, caring and warm environment. It feels more like a large home rather than a memory care facility. I felt horrible having to put him in a care facility, but he always seems happy, well cared for and has become a true part of the community. Luckily he's sweet and easy-going so I think that makes him so lovable. The staff always seem to be smiling and happy to see him. I love the homey ambience of the facility. It's beautifully decorated and painted with gorgeous murals. I know he's well loved and cared for there!

ActivCare is a top notch memory care facility with a staff that continually exceeds expectations. I am so grateful to have my mom being cared for by such an experienced, kind and understanding group of professionals. The environment is beautiful and calm. I receive regular communication from the staff on how my mom is doing which gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend ActivCare!

Absolutely amazing facility and staff! The staff is competent, professional and reliable. I had my mom at a different facility and recently moved her here. The difference is night and day. I can now enjoy spending time having fun with my mom instead of being the caretaker. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for care for a loved one with dementia.

I cannot express my gratitude to the entire staff at ActivCare Yorba Linda for two years of impeccable care for my mother. Not only do they truly care about their residents, they really understand how to handle memory care patients, and that's just not the case in a lot of places. Residents are given a large variety of activities which keep their minds engaged and stimulated. They are not parked in front of a TV all day but rather are given exercises, music therapy, outdoor activities, trivia, bingo, crafts, and much more. Live entertainment is brought in at least monthly, if not more often. Special kudos to everyone from the janitorial and housekeeping staff, to the kitchen staff, to the caregivers and administration for how they handled the pandemic. They did an excellent job not only caring for the sick (my mother was one, and she caught Covid in the hospital, not at ActivCare), but also with their infection procedures and also helping the residents through a very difficult time for them and their families when we couldn't be together for an entire year. It was a terrible time for all of us, but everyone at ActivCare truly did do the work of heroes and continue to do so. Prior to the pandemic, the owners of ActivCare put on very informative workshops about Alzheimer's and dementia at various locations around Orange County. I hope they start them up again soon, because they were extremely useful. Families also receive excellent support here, too. In my opinion, you cannot find a better place for your loved one than ActivCare. I looked at several Memory Cares in the area -- and some more expensive -- before deciding on ActivCare, and I have had not a single regret. I consider myself and our family to have been very fortunate to find them, and I know my mother's last years were as happy as they could be when she was living there.
