AILIDA RETIREMENT HOME

Poorly run. Unsafe medical conditions. Not enough staff at night accommodate patients needs. They let my 90 year old father lay in waste for 12-14 hours every night. Run by a bunch of people not properly licensed or trained to care for patients. DO NOT bring your loved ones here !! Warning, warning !

I would not recommend if you expect a high level of care. Staff does not interact much with patients. They don’t give updates on your loved one when you ask. If they do, they say the are doing fine. My mom was there less than two months and we pulled her out and moved her to a much better facility. You get what you pay for. Board but not much care. The home has a very stuffy smell and there are always a lot flies in the house throughout. The caretakers are semi friendly. My mom was brought out of her room and she would sit on the couch with her Walker clear across the room. At her new board and care she has much more freedom with assistance. The owner lacked in communication. We would text and either never hear back or not hear back for days. They did not temperature check visitors or do weekly Covid tests for patients or ask visitors for weekly Covid checks. They didn’t keep a log of my moms potty breaks, blood pressure, etc. Again, you get what you pay for.

My 90 year father was brought here 3 weeks ago and I have been so impressed with the attention and care he is getting here. He is unable to walk on his own at this time and needs to be here! I cannot imagine him being any where else. Today they had a Christmas party for all of the families of their 5 residents! We all were able to share with each other how grateful we had our dad’s at this board and care home. Thanks again to Anna and her staff for taking such great care of my dad.

Wonderful place with caring, loving caregivers! I highly recommend Ailida Retirement Home to anyone who needs assisted living!
