I put off getting help for along time for my husband. But my brother-in-law recommended that I call Family Matters, it was a wonderful decision. My life has become much easier with all the help. I would recommend Family Matters to anyone.

Oscar and his staff are really a class above the competition when it homes to elder care. We had an awful experience with another local home health company and when I did my research to find a replacement, family matters became the obvious choice. The staff are friendly, professional and eager to make my dad comfortable and feel special when he is in the care of the family matters staff. A previous company (starts with GE) I had to fire made my dad feel like he was a little kid being babysat and the staff would lie about showing up for their shifts. When I first contacted Family matters I shared with them my bad experience and they assured me that family matters ran a professional operation and held employees and staff accountable. Since hiring family matters my dad is so much happier and feels like his home health lady that comes is his friend and they enjoy their time together. She makes my dad feel like a human being and not a chore or nuisance. She actually engages with him and wants to get to know him. I work full time and so does my wife and knowing my dad is in good hands makes a world of difference for us as we don’t have to worry. It’s a shame that family matters is not the standard for an industry that often treats elderly like a paycheck and not a valuable member of society. Family matters gets it and I’m so happy I chose them. Having a ❤️ in business MATTERS!

I can’t say enough good things about the exceptional care we received from Oscar as our care manager. From the very beginning, he coordinated every aspect of my father’s in-home care with such professionalism and compassion. He took the time to understand our needs in detail and made sure we had the right caregivers in place who were skilled, attentive, and truly caring. Oscar was our go-to person, always just a call away whenever we had questions or needed anything adjusted. His responsiveness and ability to handle any situation that arose brought us so much peace of mind. He communicated everything clearly, kept us updated, and ensured that we felt supported every step of the way. Thanks to Oscar’s dedication, we knew my father was in the best hands possible. Highly recommended for anyone in need of compassionate, reliable in-home care.

I was referred to Family Matters through a colleague who worked with them through their Campbell office. I was doing the leg work for a older family friend in San Mateo who had some language limitations and wasn't sure how to navigate the search. My friend was in the process of relocation to assist her mother, so she needed short term support because her mother was unable to stay home alone. After reading great reviews on yelp about the Campbell site, I decided to give them a call to inquire. Family Matters provided us with a range of support. They helped my friends mother with everything from simple chores, to driving her back and forth to doctor appointments. They took the time to answer any questions we had over the phone and in person. This was really great because I had a lot of back and forth going as the messenger. We were able to text our care manager which was super helpful and easier as I was also trying to balance my work duties. Our care manager was reachable anytime with questions, concerns, and scheduling modifications we made. The process was simple and smooth. My friend was really impressed with how quick the care manager was able to match and schedule a caretaker to her mom's house after the consultation. The caretaker was really sweet to her mother and my friend felt at ease knowing someone was able to help her mom. Overall, I'd highly recommend.
