ALIMAR ASSISTED LIVING

Alimar is a warm, friendly place that cares for all of its residents with love - the most important thing! The green space and house cats, as well as the apartment set-up with a living room make it feel homey and not like an institution. It's way more affordable than most other places that aren't nearly as good. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is that it's not as fancy as some, and doesn't have the bells and whistles other places have.

I recently had to move both of my parents into Alimar ALF on very short notice. They have been there just a short period of time, but thanks to all the friendly staff they are already feeling at home. Every staff member there treats them super nice which has made it easier for them to adjust. They also love the food and the friendly atmosphere. Also, Meredith Bond, the administrator, was very helpful and accommodating and guided me through this whole unfamiliar process. She throughly explained everything to me and answered all the questions that I had. I would recommend Alimar to anyone looking for an ALF for a loved one.

Thankful that my mom is being cared for at Alimar. She’s been there now a year, and the super staff treats everyone like family. Her medical care is much better than it was when my mom was home. And Meredith is so very helpful and knowledgeable.

My Mom has been in Alimar since March and I have seen a big change in her! The staff are very kind and loving. Meredith Bond (the administrator) does a great job. She is very involved with the every day routine of the home. She plans parties for the residents on every holiday and birthday parties in between! I am so glad my Mom is living there now!

My mother moved to Alimar Assisted Living almost 3 years ago. These types of changes for an elder are not the easiest, going from their independence to communal living. My family is so thankful to have found Alimar Assisted Living. My mother is happy, well cared for, surrounded by love , you can visit at any time. Mom is always raving about the food ! The food at Alimar is cooked fresh everyday 3 times a day! It is just like home cooked food and traditional food they are used to eating at home. The facility is clean! Marisela and her staff do a great job! Don't hesitate to make the move. It is harder on you than them. At this age what is most important is well care and socialization there is no lack of that there. My mother is 94 and doing so much better now than being alone and depressed in her apartment.
