not sure how this place has so many good ratings, i’m not one to leave ratings but i had to let people know this facility is terrible and full blown ELDER NEGLECT! my grandfather was in their memory care unit and shoved in a hot room where they made him stay all day just watching tv because they don’t have enough staff to support the level of care these people need, he ended up catching flu, rsv, and pneumonia (which none of them told us about) we were unable to visit for a week, and when we came back, he was skin and bones from them not helping him eat since he had dementia and couldn’t remember! i came in when we were discharging him and he had mucus all down his face going into his mouth, trying hard to breathe through it, because he had no tissues given to him, it was sickening to see someone you love forgotten about and basically left to rot, i 100% believe this place is the ultimately the reason why he passed away, they did not care for him, and it was too far gone when we got him to the hospital, PLEASE do not send your loved ones especially with dementia here! they will not be cared for properly!!!

Autumn Lake Healthcare Post Acute Care Center. is EXCELLENT as a healthcare provider for my sister. I live in Texas and they let me know any issues that is going on with my sister. Especially Daphne she is easy to talk too and any concerns I have she handles them for my sister. Everyone has been great when the caregivers say they'll call you back with an update they really and truly do and they are so nice and polite. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU FOR THE GREAT WORK THAT YOU DO !!!!!!!

I've had my brother with Parkinson's there for about 5 months. Everyone I've dealt with has been caring and for the most part attentive to him and me. From the ladies at the reception desk, to the nurses that care for him have shown care for him. They call me no matter the time of day or night and let me know if anything that's happened or tests they are going to be doing on him. I do think for the money he's paid, the rooms could be updated with better beds. Although he was given a new TV when he moved in, the remote was lost and he's never gotten a replacement even though we've asked. Even just visiting him, everyone you walk by who works there is friendly and most seem to know him and always have something positive to say about him.

My mom made the horrible mistake of choosing this facility because it was close to home. First I will say that some of the staff is very loving and kind also there is a supervisor Tanya who was quite helpful and as sweet as pie. However it takes more than just a few good people! The lack of care is completely unbelievable. My mom’s roommate had to change my mom’s diaper because no one came to help. The place is filthy. The toilet in my mom’s room was never cleaned and stayed the way you see it in the photo even today it still hasn’t been cleaned. They need proper training in many areas. If you truly love your family members NEVER send any of them to autumn Lakes. You will absolutely regret it.
