The team is compassionate, attentive, and treats everyone like family. You can tell they’re well-trained and coordinated – that only happens with strong leadership setting the right tone. My mother has been living here three months. The transition was difficult. There are still obstacles to jump, but she is very happy. Everyone has been very welcoming, someone is always available should she need a hand. I do not worry about her as I did when she lived alone. Allegro does everything to make its occupants feel welcome and at home, having special festivals each month, movies, musical concerts, happy hour. Her medical care is exceptional and the associates are amazing! Here my Mother will live out her days in peace and harmony.

My mom has been at Allegro for 5 years and loves it! The staff is wonderful, particularly the nursing and med tech staff. They have often gone "above and beyond " to care for my mom. And I especially appreciate the staff communication with the family. There are a large variety of interesting, fun and engaging activities each day. The food is excellent and served by a caring and attentive wait staff. I highly recommend Allegro Senior Living at Hyde Park.

Allegro is genuinely the best senior living facility. Both of my grandmothers and great aunt have been residents (two are still current residents) of Allegro. I cannot say enough about the facility - the food is great, the activities are numerous, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Every person who works at Allegro want to be there, and care for the residents. It is the most comforting feeling knowing that the amazing women who helped raise me are getting amazing care as an elder. Thank you Allegro for the best community!

My father lives at Allegro and has now for years. We could not be more pleased with all aspects of the facility. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. As parents age, families inevitably worry about whether they will have meaningful social interactions with others and also be able to obtain what assistance may be necessary to accomplish activities of daily living. Will they be safe and happy? Can they continue to enjoy the company and friendship of others? Are their physical and emotional needs understood and appreciated and are they met? With my father at Allegro, we no longer have those concerns. There are daily social events that appeal to many varying interests, book clubs, movies, forums, contests, visiting speakers, entertainment, and even a daily happy hour where residents and their guests can socialize before dinner. The Allegro staff and nursing personnel are always available regardless of the hour. The facilities are meticulously maintained, and the food is varied and quite good (I am particularly fond of the ever-changing soup selections!). The Chef really does a wonderful job in satisfying the different tastes of so many people while keeping the menu nutritious and varied. It is a special place.
