Allegro in Harrington Park is a wonderful community. The exterior grounds are beautiful - overlooking the reservoir with surrounding evergreens. The staff at the front desk is always welcoming and willing to direct you if needed. The medical and non-medical staff are very pleasant, and always greet you with a smile and take interest in your well-being. Overall, safe and a place to call "home."

First, why is there not a way to have a online virtual tour? 2nd, Why is there no description of what kind of stores/restaurants/healthcare is available in that area? Third, Families and the resident need to be reminded of their ombudsman to contact so that concerns can be addressed outside of the facilities. 4th It is the responsibility of the administration and nursing director to address shortfalls. 5th pay the staff! 6th ALL PATIENTS in the nursing facility should be assigned 3 staff members to EACH patient...2 certified nursing staff to complete ADL tasks. YOU CAN'T LIFT & ROLL PATIENTS ALONE!!! The 3rd staff member should be a house keeping staff to help with clean up. THE DON''s are some of the laziest staff in most facilities and contribute to the degradation of theses facilities!!! There should be no smoking for anyone including staff at these facilities!!!!

My sister-in-law was very excited to move to Allegro at Harrington Park when conditions in her life suddenly shifted and that was no longer possible. Allegro was helpful, compassionate, and kind in dealing with unraveling a half moved in resident. A difficult and dynamic situation was handled with professionalism and understanding. I will always be very appreciative of their assistance and would highly recommend Allegro at Harrington Park to anyone.

I’ve hesitated to write this, but our ongoing experience at this facility has been incredibly disappointing—especially given the high cost of living here. For the price being paid, we expect a much higher standard of care, professionalism, and respect for residents and their families. My mother-in-law lives at this facility and has recently gone through a significant personal loss. As a family, we’ve made it a point to visit every Sunday for dinner to support her emotionally. Unfortunately, instead of feeling welcomed, we are made to feel like an inconvenience. The food service is consistently poor. Staff take an unreasonably long time to even bring a menu, and we are frequently ignored. When we politely express concerns, some waitstaff have reacted unprofessionally—complaining to managers about us in front of other families. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially in a setting where empathy and professionalism should be the norm. Additionally, communication from the facility is lacking. Important information about care, schedules, or visit protocols is inconsistent or unclear. While the facility advertises itself as family-friendly and supportive, our experience has felt quite the opposite. There’s a growing sense that residents are being isolated from loved ones under the guise of policy or convenience. Retirement community should offer peace of mind. It should be a place where residents feel cared for and families feel welcome. Sadly, this has not been our experience. For the amount being paid, both residents and their families deserve far better.

I've recently had the pleasure of touring Allegro while searching for an assisted living community for my mother. After meeting Evan and his wonderful staff, we've decided that there is no better place for her than Allegro. The facility is clean, bright, pleasantly scented, and filled with a positive, happy energy—everything my mother has been looking for in her new home. I was pleasantly surprised to see her so excited about moving in after our visit. It has taken a huge weight off me and my siblings shoulders, and we can't wait to get her settled into her new place. Thank you, Allegro, for making this challenging decision so much easier.
