Harbor Village is a great place to live and truly feels like home. The food is excellent, with delicious meals and plenty of variety. The activities are fun, well organized, and keep everyone engaged and connected. They are currently doing a remodel, and it looks amazing—it has really refreshed the community and made it even more inviting. Overall, Harbor Village is a wonderful place to live with a warm atmosphere, great amenities, and exciting improvements.

When we were looking for a facility for my father in law we saw EVERY place in town. For the most part they were often very similar. What set apart HVSC was the people. Tatiana was our first contact and she made tge process very easy to manage. She came out to meet us and was so helpful in finding the right apartmemt lay out and location. She answered all of our questions (and we had many). She made a really tough time very smooth.

I am very sad to hear that Tatiana was dismissed from her position at Harbor Village. We first met her one year ago when we were living in St Augustine, Florida and planning to relocate home to Vermont. It was a challenging endeavor for two 80 year olds. I am a disabled veteran and dealing with such a monumental move was daunting. A call to HV resulted in meeting Tatiana. She was amazing! It was a late weekend evening when we first spoke with her. She spent almost two hours discussing details about Harbor Village. From that point on, we had her total commitment and attention to our numerous needs. She was continually working with us to make us feel at ease and facilitate all the details involved. She is already missed by so many residents! Many of those I have spoken with are at HV because of Tatiana’s unconditional caring and professionalism. She will be a valuable asset to whomever is lucky enough to hire her!

My mother and i really had a complete experience at Harbor Village. She entered as a fully functioning 99-year-old and unfortunately declined to her passing at the facility over a 10-month period. I must say she was extremely well taken care of at all stages. The staff and the administration took an individual interest in not only her as the resident but for the family and friends supporting her as well. Care plans were professionally adjusted for Mom's changing health and discussed and communicated in a timely fashion. The facility itself was safe and inviting and maintained at the highest level. Taking all of those factors into consideration, there is no replacement for compassion. It isn't taught it is just given and that was what we received throughout our experience at every level. I have a great sense of appreciation for the staff and the lasting effect they have had on my family!!!

I have been here in the independent living building for six months. My first impression during my tour of the facility was how friendly and welcoming everyone I crossed paths with is and the cleanliness of the facility. The location is beautiful, and quite offering great walking areas-yet very close to shopping centers. The staff is supportive, accommodating, and go out of their way to take care of any issues. Many activities are planned regularly including various exercise programs, game nights, writers group, guest speakers, and more. My only concern is the rent increases yearly which are quite high for this area at 10%. Hopefully the rent will not be raised again this year as affordability is always an issue for senior citizens. Besides that, this is a wonderful facility and I feel blessed to be here.
