Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living

Do not send a loved one to the "skilled nursing" building. We toured the assisted living building and I was actually impressed with the care and staff there. However my family member ended up moving to the skilled nursing building and it is COMPLETELY different from the larger assisted living facility. There was almost zero intake the day she arrived. My family member spent one night there and experienced a fall after her call button was ignored by staff. An ambulance was called after WE rushed over following a middle of the night call from her when she was on the ground. They had no idea. They didn't come when she pushed her call button, and medication she was on a schedule for were not given. We did not return given the complete neglect by the staff. There were red flags from the minute we got there and I wish I could go back in time and we would not have left her there. Do your research, ask questions and go somewhere else.

Though it was time for more help, my mom chose Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living reluctantly, but it was her top choice. She just knew. Her apartment was lovely and very comfortable. And the people!!! The ENTIRE staff (admin, kitchen, activities, front desk, maintenance, cleaning and of course Nurses and CNAs) were AMAZING. The care they demonstrate on a daily basis is beyond what we could hope for. It never felt like a “business”, but a home where she was cared about to the end. In her final days, the staff also went above and beyond for our family, and we felt loved. Thank you. No words can describe our deep appreciation for you all. 💖

My mother was in assisted living here from April 2024 until January 2025 when she became ill. At that time she transferred to your memory/assisted living. She had excellent care in both units. All of your employees are very caring and treated her as if she was part of their family. I can’t thank each and every single person who works there including housekeeping and maintenance. They ALL work as a family and I am so grateful she had such excellent care in her last year of life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Arlana Clark
