I visited here with my Aunt. I was really impressed with the kindness of the staff and the comfortability of the community. Jenna gave a wonderfully informative tour and made us feel less anxious in this process of finding a home for her. We felt taken care of. Hopefully they see this and know they did a great job with my family

Would not recommend this place to anyone….my father-in-law received the worst care imaginable! He has late stage Alzheimer’s and if they asked him if he wanted lunch he would say no so they wouldn’t take him to eat…..most of the time he would say no so you have to tell him it’s time to eat! He would fall out of bed and lay there for an hour because no one would check on him like they were supposed too! Would let him sit in dirty clothes and dirty diapers! All his clothes and blankets and personal items went missing….dressed him in other people’s clothes! The administer banned my mother-in-law from the building to visit her husband based on lies! Didn’t like that she would call them out on the terrible care he was receiving…..so to visit we had to take him outside on the sidewalk! You don’t want these people taking care of your loved ones……they have no compassion for them at all! Horrible place!!!

I wouldn’t recommend this facility to my worst enemy. My grandpa is currently here in the memory care unit until we can find another facility for him. Every single time someone in our family has gone to visit him he is laying in bed with a soiled brief. They do not get him up for meals. He lost all function of his legs because they did not follow the physical therapy order. They are severely understaffed and I have had to wait 10+ minutes for someone to respond to a call light. He has fallen more times than I can count and had someone from our family not showed up he would probably still be laying on the floor. The care here is disgustingly terrible. I could go on and on with the multitude of malpractice instances that were done by this facility and their staff. I honestly am shocked that this facility is even still open with the number of violations they should have. Avoid this place at all costs!

I attended the Marty Schreiber Alzheimer's event on Thursday 3/20... the team at Eden did a great job hosting this super informative event! Thank you... important information and very worthwhile.

My mother and I visited several facilities for her and my father before deciding on Allouez Sunrise Village. We were looking for location, comfort, safety and cost. Sunrise Village is a Residential Care Apartment Complex. This means you pay for the services and care you need. If you want to pay for the meal plan you can or you can prepare your own meals in your apartment. The apartments are spacious and have a full kitchen. Comparing costs with other similar facilities we felt Sunrise Village was a more cost effective option. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a movie theater in the lower level. Several activities are planned every day for the residents to chose from. Even though Mom was reluctant to leave her home and move she now has made many friends and is so happy to be here. This was the best choice for us and has given us peace of mind. My father unfortunately passed away a few months ago at Sunrise after years of poor health. But the staff there was so supportive and kind that we can not thank them enough.
