Memory Care: Friendly, caring bedside staff, poorly supervised. Residents often not dressed in their own clothes. Mother in law contracted scabies twice in 6 months. Poor communication and infection control training between management and bedside staff. Poor assessment of resident skin. Reliance on unlicensed staff and med tech for resident assessment.

Honestly things here have improved so much in what I see for my mom’s care & needs. There was inconsistency of care & housekeeping from month to month. But loving it that so so much has improved❣️….some shout-outs 👍🏼 here for so many of mom’s caregivers: thank you to the evening shift’s Judith, Navi, Rhonda & Tammy for checking in on mom in the evenings/bedtime. Dayshifts-want to give kudos for their care to mom’s needs: Meena, Nazha, Maria-thank you…and so very thankful also to Mahtab, Laiba and Sophia, no matter what wing/floor they are assigned to, they make sure mom makes it to the activities on time and go beyond. Besides timely care, I look for kindness extended to my mom and all these ladies are lovely to mom. Also the lobby staff-love to see their smiles and greetings☺️. Thank you to Lucinda and Danielle as well 🫶🏼 for all our talks. I value genuine friendships mom and I have made here.

Almond Heights Sr. Living continues to meet our needs and Greg's care. From driver Mike's good driving skills, to Danielle's kind approachable demeanor, to DeeDee greeting everyone by name, to Jasmine's sense humor and flexibility, to Chef Byron's accepting suggestions and implementing some food suggestions, to Noel's cheerfulness and great soups, and so many more on the staff that we could name. I think a real plus for coming to Almond Hts. is all the activities Bimpe, Cindy, and Mike facilitate each and every day. Ivan has really kept the facility functioning. My way of giving back has been to help update the library and be the president of the Resident Council. I'm thankful to Almond Heights for giving good care to my husband Greg. Try us; I think you'll like us! Joyce Bingham

I would like to acknowledge two phenomenal caregivers here at Almond Heights, Mahtab & Laiba. Mahtab is an outstanding caregiver with great knowledge. She always fixes difficult tech problems for me when it comes to my TV or Phone. She is kind and gentle. Laiba is a delightful and energetic caregiver. She is full of optimism and concern regarding residents at Almond Heights. They are sisters who are among the very best caregivers in my opinion at Almond Heights. If anyone has any questions about Laiba or Mahtab, please speak to me. They make everyday here enjoyable.

I want to take this opportunity to compliment a caregiver who always goes above and beyond, Laiba. She's loving, kind, and brings joy to my life. When she's here, there's an added bonus, my meals are never late.
