Alta Ridge - Holladay

I like the other residents here. I have made some good friends. We have good activities here. We have good parties. The food is pretty good too. The administrator, Megan, is fun. She is always joking with us. Brittany is a great activities director.

Alta Ridge Assisted Living in Holladay is a lovely and fairly small facility. The facility is clean, staff is friendly, caring and take great care of the family member that lives there. The meals served are very tasty with no complaints. Highly recommend!

My Sister has been a resident for over 2 years now. They residents at Alta Ridge in Holiday are like a family. The staff there is caring and loving. My sister loves it there! I am blessed to have Alta Ridge staff caring for my sister. It is a great relief not to have to worry about her care, because I know she is in loving caring hands.

I love this place. As a nurse, I have been in countless skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities visiting patients and observing the care that is given in them. I have the most confidence in assisted living settings. I think they uniformly give a higher quality of care than nursing homes, they are harder to understaff, the staff are more caring and friendly. So when it came time to find a place for my beloved mother in law, assisted living was not even a question. Alta Ridge Holladay, honestly could not be better. The caregiving staff have always been very attentive and caring, they always respond quickly to our needs. The nurse is always just a phone call away and very responsive to questions and concerns. They have set a low bar for calling in the additional help of a home care agency whenever residents are ill or lose function and they work very hard to keep residents in their current environment no matter the level of decline. I especially love the way they interact with my mother in law who has a memory that on most days is no longer than 5 minutes. They are patient and loving and treat her with the dignity and warmth that she deserves. And the place smells nice, a fairly diagnostic quality indicator.

My mother was at Alta Ridge a little over a year before she passed away. I cannot describe in words how grateful our entire family was for the wonderful care that she received there. It is a smaller assisted living facility which was one of the huge reasons we entrusted her care to them. She received wonderful one-on-one care and the staff knew her well and treated her with the utmost respect and dignity. They knew our family well. When we came to visit, they greeted and treated us like family. Mother was not a number to them and neither were we. They genuinely loved her and expressed that to her and to us on a regular basis. We will be forever grateful for their kind and compassionate care.
