Alta Ridge Assisted Living of Sandy

I witnessed a CNA did not catch her name engaged in a verbal tirade against another younger CNA. This was not a constructive correction or a private disagreement; it was a loud, aggressive, and demeaning display of hostility. Most disturbingly, this occurred in the direct view and earshot of the residents. I find this behavior entirely inexcusable for the following reasons: disrespectful from one CNA to another CNA, This is bullying in a way that the older cna embarrassed the younger cna in front of the residents by yelling at her and not letting the younger cna speak and making her feel less of a person in front of other people. By the way the older cna was yelling it seemed it was not the first time its happened. I will continue to report this because its unprofessional and unsafe for residents to see and hear this.

Our dear Mother lived at Alta Ridge Assisted living for 4 plus years. She loved it there!!! It was home to her. From the first day she moved in she was greeted with love and open arms by the staff and residents alike. A BIG thank you and hugs to everyone there for helping to make our Mother's life so secure and happy. During the first part of the pandemic, Alta Ridge had to close its doors to the public and family for the safety of its residents.. During this time they let us arrange video chats with our loved ones, which was a HUGE blessing to our family! I know it meant more work for the staff to arrange time for these precious video chats, but they were diligent to make sure they happened. We genuinely appreciated their efforts and thoughtfulness in doing those. A special thank you and love sent to Melanie Bradshaw for giving so much love to Mom and our family throughout the pandemic and all the years of Mom's stay there....a HUGE BLESSING for Mom and our family!!! Alta Ridge Assisted Living- Sandy,, employs so many amazing and caring staff members. For my mother's later years, we could not have asked for a better Assisted Living facility. The staff genuinely care about the residents needs and will address any concerns. Activities Director Melanie always goes above and beyond to make daily activities fun and rewarding for the residents. She is also an awesome Aide that is a kind, skilled caregiver.

My parents both lived at Alta Ridge and we loved having them there. The staff was wonderful to us. My parents lived one year in the Sandy Assisted Living Center and then moved across the street in the Alzheimer's unit for another 3 1/2 years. I always felt listened to and cared about at both places. I recommend them all the time to friends who need a place for parents.

My great grandma lives here, and we coudn't have chosen a better place. The staff here are amazing! They are so welcoming and nice. they take fantastic care of her. they offer one-one enrichement and tend to their needs. they truly do everything to make her feel as if she was at her own home!
