Among other things, the receptionist is extremely rude. Aren't you suppose to greet guests? Obviously none of you care. When calling in to the main number, asking politely to speak to a specific someone, who says "Who is this?" Your " receptionist" India does. Old enough to know better.

The Executive Director does not return phone calls. She sent two conflicting rate increase letters for 2026 and will not return my phone calls regarding this issue. Highly unprofessional! This is a management issue. The caregivers at American Village have been wonderful.

American Village has grown to be one of the best skilled nursing facilities in Indianapolis over the past few years! Between the independent living senior apartments, the assisted living, and the healthcare sides, they have a beautiful, calming, campus where the staff really makes it feel like a home!

Are you serious right now? This irresponsible driver drove all around downtown with the rear door wide open and a lady in a wheelchair sitting right on the rear. We tried to flag him down as well as multiple other people and he just kept driving along. No answer at the main office for assistance. Michigan and Meridian Indianapolis 7/5/2023 at 1040am!

I must share the remarkable experience we had at American Village nursing home. It was a testament to faith, compassion, and exceptional care. Scott and Jennifer warmly embraced us, addressing our concerns with empathy. In just two weeks, our dear grandmother regained her strength and walked again, a true miracle. But let me tell you about Mary, an extraordinary soul in the housekeeping team. Beyond her daily tasks, Mary went above and beyond, extending her heart and spirit to our grandmother. She not only helped with room needs but also uplifted her spiritually. Mary took the time to pray with our grandmother, offering a blessing to start each day on a sacred note. It was a profound and heartwarming experience. We are forever grateful to the remarkable care team, whose hands were vessels of God's love. Praise the Lord for leading us to American Village nursing home. God's grace abounds at American Village nursing home. 🙏🏾
