Amore dementia Care and got shut down because of administration mismanagement

My mom's dementia was significant, to where she was delusional 24/7, hallucinated and wandered. I had my mom in a facility that would NOT communicate with me and things were happening that I was not made aware of as they kept them from me. No nursing home wanted her as she could walk. I went looking for a new ALF, Amore Dementia was recommended to me. They were wonderful, they communicated me with, they respected my wishes that nothing new was done to my mom without my knowledge and a discussion as I am an active part of my mom's care. I had so much contact with them and when my mom passed due to her age they were there. I would highly recommend this facility.

All of the folks there are deeply caring individuals who really look out for the residents. They are engaged and involved with every person living there and show them lots of love and attention. You can see that everyone is committed to providing the best experience possible for all of the people staying wit them. Mom lived at their other facility, Paradise Care Cottage, before moving to Amore', and our whole family feels very lucky that we found such a wonderful place for her.

I had my mom in memory care down in Miami, Fl. She was over medicated and had no quality of life. Since bringing her here to Amore in Stuart, we have had her re-evaluated and had her medications changed. She is now more lucid and eating and walking better!! I visit my mom often and any time I have gone to Amore to visit, the staff has been simply amazing. The absolute love and care they show is second to none. I could not image my mom being anywhere else.
