AN INNOVATIVE CARE SOUTH WINDS

I went to tour this facility with my Wife for my Aunt that needed more care than we could provide . Colleen was very knowledgeable in her field of practice and gave us some great advice. The building itself was very home like and clean We will be moving forward with this building being my Aunt new home.

Southwind’s is truly a wonderful place. The location is absolutely beautiful—very peaceful, well-kept, and inviting, which makes it feel like home the moment you arrive. Colleen the RN/Administrator and All her great care staff are exceptional: compassionate, attentive, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the their residents. You can see that Colleen takes great pride in her building. Housekeeping also deserves a special recognition the building is always odor free clean, safe, and well maintained. Overall, Southwind’s provides outstanding care. Highly recommended for yourself & your loved ones.

I would never recommend this place. Can’t keep staff whats so ever. When you have loved one in there you literally have to babysit to hopefully your loved one is taken care of. So happy we made the best choice to get our loved one out of there into a better place that fits her needs. Please do your research sending someone there. Staff is more on their phones and taking care of their selves.

Great place to live. Caretakers are very friendly and helpful. My grandkids love to play on the hills in the back.

My mom entered Southwinds in January 2018 and she has been very happy here. She's always clean, dressed and engaged with the other residents, things she needs staff help to achieve. We find it to be a welcoming family environment and Anita's personal interest in her well-being is outstanding. My mom recently had a health scare that required us to remove her temporarily to another facility, where conditions were abhorrent. She was isolated and ignored. We couldn't wait to get her back to Southwinds and Joel and the management at Southwinds worked very hard to welcome her back. This says it all: Anita accompanied us to bring my mom back. Watching my mom light up like a Christmas tree when she was interacting with Anita says it all - a resident's complete trust and happiness from her caregiver. To me that's the epitome of care-giving, someone who takes a personal interest in the well-being of a client. We are relieved my mom is back at Southwinds. I highly recommend this CBRF for your loved one!
