The tour was very thorough and the staff we encountered were amazing! My Mom was very pleased with this place. My husband and I were looking for a senior facility for my dad that was local and with the budget. When we visited San Leandro Senior Living... we were met with an amazing since of community.. family. From the exterior of the building, to meeting some of the residents and staff, all the way to having lunch there, our expectations were exceeded! But most importantly, my dad LOVED it! And that was the best feeling and that took a huge weight of our shoulders! We are excited to have found this place for dad and that he is going to be in great hands! Thank you to Kashir for showing us around and being warm and welcoming! We feel a part of the family!

I felt compelled to update my review to say the staff is AMAZING! They go out of their way to help with my mom's "crisis." In this case, her hairdresser cancelled due to illness and they found her another appointment and got her there. That is typical of their care and attitude. Very grateful for the wonderful staff at Pacifica! I moved my 89 yr old Mom to Pacifica 6 months ago. I had toured the facility 3 yrs ago. I was impressed that 3 years later most of the staff i met were still there. They are friendly, caring and kind. It is great to call and get a real person to answer questions. The receptionist, Gladys, is always helpful and friendly. The activities director, Lai, has great energy and has gone out of her way to make my Mom feel welcome. The fact that my Mom can walk 2 blocks for a Safeway, pharmacy, BART, church or restaurants is an added bonus.
