My mother has been there just over a year . I’m a retired NYPD 911 first responder. Best move that I put her in Angels . The staff is very professional , especially Dana Crystal Chad and caretaker. Cynthia and other members that I’ve had met. My mother Stella has made many friends there. Thank you all for taking care of the most important Person in my life. I highly recommend. Angels to anything that needs you family members in an assisted living facility. I give them a 5 star rating. Thanks to Mr Bennet. Respectfully Peter Schembri

My sister recently moved to this facility about 6 months ago. We are happy with the professional staff, cleanliness and quaintness of the place. It’s warm when you walk in, and the staff is friendly. My sister loves the good quality of food that’s served. The activities and scheduled entertainment provided are enjoyed by my sister and I’m sure by the other residents too. Management and staff are responsive to questions and follow up with care Issues if there are any. My family and I are comfortable with my sister’s care and feel safe under their care.

If you are looking for an Assisted Living that feels less like a Facility, and more like a home this is what you have been searching for! It is tucked away from the busy street and you will find it peaceful and quiet. They will enjoy their retirement living in a charming southern Mansion with a breathtaking curved staircase when you walk through the door. Unique wooden ceilings, complete with a large fireplace in the dining room. Not only will your loved one enjoy living there, you will enjoy visiting them.

If you care about your loved one(s), my advice is for you to stay away from this place. It was previously known as Rose Garden. Since the recent change to Angels Senior Living, the staffing and management are both a nightmare. Patients will come to you asking for help because the staff is often no where to be found. If your loved one has issues with incontinence, they will let them sit in urine for days. They often chart that showers were given when they really weren't. Here's my own personal story of the care they gave my loved one: A couple of days ago, a close family friend went to visit my father here. He was showing signs of a stroke. She grabbed an aide to help examine him. The aide instead went to the COOK to ask for his opinion on my father's condition. He advised her to call an ambulance. The EMT's, firemen and hospital staff all mentioned that it was obvious he had been sitting in urine soaked clothes for a while. Before any tests were performed in the ER, three people had to help get him cleaned up. It was so bad, we had to throw everything away, including his shoes. He ended up developing pneumonia and conjunctivitis from their poor care conditions. The director told us that due to his current condition, they cannot provide the level of care that he needs so he cannot come back when he's discharged. In summary, they neglect their patients and then kick them to the curb when they have health complications that are more than likely caused by their "care".

Where do I start, I have been in this place a few times and never in my life have I seen the worst unorganized, dirty, unprofessional place in my life. They hire employees that are 18-year-of age that come in with no experience taking care of elderly people and also they have no experience with dementia how sad is that. When they hire Med techs they only have to take a four hour class. They don't even know what there passing out for Meds, *what a joke*. No one is licensed and I believe that the administrator Is not she doesn't even have any nursing experience !! pretty sad I know. This place should be a nursing home not a assistant living . They don't care about the Residents or their employees . Question is would you put a loved one in this facility I know in my heart that I would never even think about putting my mom and my dad or even loving family member there it should be run by someone that a medical background.. These owners should be a shame of them selfs.
