ANGELS SENIOR LIVING AT THE LODGES AT IDLEWILD

The Angels is fabulous. On a fairly quick request they found a room for my 95 year old mother. From the nurses to the directors they always kept me informed of what is going on. Plenty of activities, bible studies and great food. I will always recommend The Angels at the Lodge at Idlewild.

I cannot recommend The Lodges highly enough. My mother is in their memory care unit, and my father is in assisted living. The level of care they both receive has given our entire family tremendous peace of mind during what could have been a tough transition. What truly sets The Lodges apart is their understanding that care isn't one-size-fits-all. The personalized attention that both my parents receive shows that the staff genuinely takes the time to know each resident as an individual. They've learned my parents' preferences, routines, and needs, making them feel at home rather than just another resident. My parents are more active, and my father is more social than he has been in 10 years. I only wish I had done this sooner. The memory care my mother receives is outstanding. The staff is patient, compassionate, and expertly trained in caring for individuals with memory care needs. They've created a safe and engaging environment where she receives the specialized care she needs. Perhaps what has meant the most to our family is how The Lodges made arrangements to keep my parents close to each other despite their different care needs. This thoughtfulness and flexibility allowed them to remain near one another, which has been invaluable for both of their well-being. The Lodges understands that families matter, even when care requirements differ. If you're looking for a facility that combines professional expertise with genuine compassion and goes the extra mile to accommodate family needs, The Lodge is an excellent choice. We feel blessed to have found them.

The Lodges was a God send for our family when my father and stepmom moved in a little over a year ago. The staff is exceptional. The administration is always available and accommodating! It is a very loving, caring environment!

Our parents moved in the end of September so have been at the Lodges for almost seven weeks. We could not be more satisfied with the assistance, the advice, the encouragement, and the care for our parents and ourselves. We are new to this and it has been a labyrinth of new experiences, some confusing, some anxious. The management, wellness director, caregivers, food services, and staff have patiently given us great relief and support in this process. We checked many facilities and are so glad we chose the Lodges.

My parents came to the Lodges of Idlewild over a year ago and the staff take great care of them. When my dad recently passed, they understood that the change would be difficult for my mother so they provided extra support during that difficult time. I cannot thank them enough for the care they have provide over the past year! There is no "perfect" ALF but here they are always striving to be better. They are constantly brainstorming ways to help the residents/families feel at home and part of the community. The staff are fantastic! Many have been there for years and consistency is very important when our loved ones are struggling to remember the people that used to be familiar. To see a familiar face can make all of the difference! I believe that some of the negative reviews are from other facilities with a similar name. The staff and families at Angels Senior Living at the Lodges of Idlewild work hard to maintain a positive, loving, and fun environment. Please come check it out and see for yourselves.
