ANGELS WINGS ASSISTED LIVING HOME

If I could give Angel’s Wings 50 stars I would! There are not enough stars (or words) to adequately express the gratitude that my family and I feel for Donna (as well as her incredible staff and loving family), and for the compassionate care they provided for my Mother-in-Law (affectionately called Mama Flo by everyone there) during the last two months of her life. Angel’s Wings truly is a family, and treats all of their patients, families, and loved ones as members of their own family. Donna and her team are incredibly competent, knowledgeable, kind, and above all else, passionate about what they do. No one wants to go through the pain of losing a loved one, but Angel’s Wings provides a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients in their final days. For our family, many of us live out of town, and Donna worked very closely with Flo’s hospice care team and kept us constantly in the loop. We could breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Flo was receiving the absolute best care possible. It was a priceless gift to see her smiling and laughing right up to the end, and we have Angel’s Wings to thank for that.

There are not enough words to express our love and gratitude we have for Donna, her family and the care givers she has. My father was there until his passing and I am so comforted knowing he was in their care. They took us in and made us family immediately. We were in other homes and have something to compare. Their compassion for us and my father was Heaven sent. They instantly knew my father as if he had been there forever. They had pet names for eachother and knew how to put a smile and laughter back into his heart. I could go on until the end of time and still never be able to show my gratitude. Donna, her family and all the staff at Angel Wings Assisted Living treated my father with incredible kindness, care and dignity in the end stages of his life. I was so worried about leaving my father in the care of strangers, but the first time I met Donna I knew it would be okay. Donna has a very calm caring personality that really makes you feel at ease. I had so many questions and concerns, and Donna answered them all with patience and kindness. The facility is a home and it feels like a home, not a hospital, which is what I really wanted for my father. The home is spotless and yet still warm and inviting. I felt that Donna and her staff took the time to treat my father like an individual and not just another patient. I hope to never have to place another family member in assisted living, but if the need would ever arise again I would definitely consider Angel Wings my first choice!

We had my mother at Angels Wings assisted living home and we loved them. My mother felt comfortable and at home in their beautiful home and caring staff. Angel’s Wings exceeded our expectations. All of the care providers were compassionate, knowledgeable, professionals. My mother felt safe and confident with her care and became very attached to the caregivers. Everybody was kind, caring and are cheerful and pleasant. My mother was treated with respect, dignity and loving care. The home is clean, safe and well maintained. What we all felt comforted with was the genuine feeling of family and home. I could rest in confidence knowing my mother was loved and well cared for. Our whole family, including pets were always welcomed warmly. Any questions or concerns were addressed in a timely and professional matter. Getting my mother settled in was made easy and her initial transition was smooth and with an absolute minimum of anxiety. Our family became close to all of the caregivers at Angel’s Wings. Should I ever require assisted living my family knows where I would feel comfortable going. When my mother departed from this earthly life our Angels at Angel’s Wings we’re there for us supportive and caring. Thank you Angel’s Wings. I have been coming to this group home since it first opened. The owner Donna is one of the nicest and most caring person I know personally and on a professional basis. She is very dedicated along with her staff in caring for her patients with the utmost respect and dignity. The home provides a calming atmosphere that I know will make any resident want to stay there.
