I had an appointment at the Rosedale Park location. It wasn't what I expected at all the only person that was friendly was the receptionist she was very pleasant. It's not for me. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!

Oak Street was alright. Each time that I would come there seemed to be an issue with my appointment time. On my first visit I waited over 45 minutes along with others. A gentleman had to go and get the front desk from a meeting, but you could hear the laughing and talking from the background. I have Hypertension severely. My medication was changed. I asked should I make an appointment for follow up. I was told no. The nurse will call you in a week. That never happened. My blood pressure continued to stay high, and I did not feel well, so I changed provider's because if no one else takes my health seriously I do.

I thought a service all this would be a good idea. This is my honest review after 5 months. Meeting the Dr. I thought she was very young to work with older people. Then when I looked her up on Google. Her back ground is not with older people. Second- the complete physical seemed very comprehensive however no real followup about test results. She completely changing my medication without talking to my specialist. I spoke to one of them and he told me to refuse her direction. He said he has me on my meds for a reason. He also said she never contacted him. The 24/7 on call assistant IS A CALL CENTER. If they told me they were a call center i would understand. They said this were on call nurses. The one nurse in the clinic I go to works 9-5. M-F. The welcome person- is the front person to change your medical insurance. They seem to push the "advantage" plans. I have original Medicare. The 1 nurse I have seen. She is a very nice person. And I believe she tries her best. But she is always looking for supplies. She seems confused about my medical condition. She seems rushed and not prepared. They are nothing like the commercial on TV. The reason I changed was I Dr. was nearing retirement age. Plus the location in Rochester Hill's was no longer convenient. So in conclusion. If you require a effective group of medical people that are not overworked and stretch thin. This might not be the system for you.

I was a patient there for about 3 months and I left. The appointments are at least 3 weeks out. They have too many patients. Oak Street Health is a big corporation. Calls go to a call center, not to the office. Medical records are kept with a 3rd party. I'v been trying to get my medical records from them for 8 months. I finally put a dispute with my insurance company. I still don't have my records from them. I do not recommend.

My mom has been a patient there for about a year or so, she was in the hospital for a week she call to make a follow up appointment after she was released from the hospital and the gave her an appointment 11 days from the day she was released. They were supposed pick her up for her appointment so she sat outside from over an hour waiting for them , they never showed up. She called the office and they said they would call her back when they found the driver. And guess what they never called her back. My mom had a urinary tract infection which turned septic. They knew why she was in the hospital. And yet made her wait 11 days and then never came to pick her up. I am very dissatisfied with the way they have treated my mom. It is not right. They claim to be so caring but in all honesty they do not treat their patients with the care and respect they deserve.
