Anthology of Northville

When my mom no longer was able to drive she wanted to live in a community of her peers. She began her stay at Storypoint in assisted living. It was a wonderful fit and she became part of the welcoming committee. Recently, it was time for a move to the memory care neighborhood. She is back to being actively engaged in the world around her. In videos, posted on their Facebook page my mom can be seen truly enjoying the many activities. In addition to the creative activities, the staff are simply amazing. Somehow, they only hire people with caring hearts. They treat my mom like a member of a family. They do such a phenomenal job of redirecting my mom when her dementia causes her to be agitated.

Both of my parents have lived at StoryPoint Northville for approximately one year, Mom in Memory Care and Dad in Assisted Living. We had an urgent need for this type of service due to a fall, and StoryPoint bent over backwards to help me. Paige Dawson was incredibly helpful and we were able to move in right away. Mom loved Memory Care from the first day. She was very social and enjoyed the company of like minded people. Dad had fallen and needed more help than we could provide at home. The caregivers were attentive and sympathetic. When it was time to begin the hospice journey, everyone worked well together. At the front desk, Kathy Yerkes was extremely welcoming and informative, and helpful in ensuring timely delivery of the daily paper directly to Dad or Amazon deliveries to both parents.

Storypoint Northville is a beautiful community. There are so many activities and events for residents. Paige is exceptional and goes above and beyond for the residents and their families. She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, patient and kind. She takes the time to understand each families needs and concerns. She goes above and beyond to make sure residents and their loved ones feel comfortable and confident in their decision to make Storypoint their home.

StoryPoint Northville is a warm, welcoming community with caring and attentive staff. You can truly tell they care about their residents. Highly recommend. Paige assisted with our tour and was absolutely amazing! She was knowledgeable, patient, and genuine when it came to answering all our questions. True professionalism!

I have lived at this community for two years. I love it! I have made many friends and I keep busy with so many things! I even started hosting my own art class, twice every single month. I get to teach my fellow neighbors. It gives me such purpose. I have been an art teacher for 40+ years, I love how I get to continue my life’s passion here in the community.
