My Mom Has been a Resident at Apollo Gardens for 14 years. When my Dad Passed in 2011 she could not live alone and needed med management. Thanks to Grace and her Family and The amazing staff My mom has done so well at Apollo Gardens. I never have to worry about her safety or if she is cared for. I will be Forever grateful that I found Apollo and that my My has this wonderful place to call home where she is treated like Family and cared for as such. She Loves the food, the staff, all entertainment and the special treats. She Loves it and every one there.

Located conveniently in an area where there's much construction, difficult to attain and perhaps even more difficult to keep.. You got it.. The Apollo... Much like it's predecessor; hurtling off on a course heading no where... Much cannot be said about ANOTHER ALF - Assisted living facility for those not in the know... Another dreary place that is better than most for sure. The staff are super nice here. The policies well grounded. However it lacks the luster of other places I've experienced: and therefore it gets 3 stars I'm afraid.

My husband;s Uncle stayed in the Apollo Retirement Residence for a long time. He was very glad to stay in this residence...He liked very much the staff of the Apollo Retirement Residence .They were available at every call of my uncle in law The rooms were extremely clean. They have had many activities for the residents. Administrator is very gentle Lady I recommend this place.

I wish I had seen this sooner as I would have written this review a year ago!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, IT IS A DUMP, AND WHAT THEY DID TO MY UNCLE/GODFATHER IS ATROCIOUS!!! Rather than let my 88 year old Uncle, who suffered from dementia, come live with me in California, his younger wife (not my aunt) dumped him in this horrible place so she could go back and stay in Poland to work as she'd been doing for years. When I found out, I tried to call my Uncle numerous times and was treated extremely rudely and hung up on each time. I had to send the police over there to check on my Uncle to make sure he was, "okay." After about 6 weeks there, my Uncle was rushed by ambulance to the hospital with SEVERE DEHYDRATION and had to spend a week in the hospital!!! Apparently he wasn't being cared for properly at Apollo Gardens. When he went into the hospital the second time, I made plans to fly to Florida to see him. When I got to Apollo Gardens, I had to go get the police because the owner, who, by the way is an extremely rude, uncaring and unfeeling woman, would not let me see him. When the police went in and brought him to the front for me to see, he looked terrible. He hadn't been shaved or had a haircut in a very long time and look completely disheveled!!! That was taken care of the next day after I vehemently complained. When I came back the next day and sat outside with my Uncle, I can say that there are people sitting outside everywhere on patio furniture, but there is nothing for them to do. It smells like urine everywhere by the furniture cushions, it was horrible. There was one gentleman laying outside on a patio couch sleeping. One older, sickly woman told me that she's allowed to stay there as long as she cleans! I was NOT allowed to go in my Uncle's room, and, when I did go in to see it, the owner came and talked to my Uncle in such a way as to frighten him (remember, he had dementia), so I told my Uncle I would leave his room. I could go on and on, but I hope I have given enough information for anyone NOT to put their loved one in this HORRIBLE DUMP! I was NOT able to bring my Uncle to California because of his selfish wife and my heart was crushed when I had to leave, but, he passed away 2 months after I left, and I was so lucky to be the last person to speak to my Godfather as he slipped from this life into the next. I hope this review helps.
