APPLEGATE REFLECTIONS

Applegate Terrace was the perfect place for my mother when she could no longer live in her own home. She loved the spacious apartment and enjoyed the food. The entire staff took very good care of her, often going above and beyond. She always commented on the kindness of the workers,

Still deciding about this facility. It is a nice setting and the staff you do see are friendly.

My family chose applegate because the apartment was great, and it is. Unfortunately that’s where great ends. You choose a place that when they hit there “life alert “ button someone comes immediately, unfortunately that’s not the case here. We also decided to have a few meals here with her so she wasn’t alone and also she’d know what to do. My brother went first… it was a disaster, they are suppose to offer alternative options but they don’t really. My son and I went to have dinner with her and it was completely unacceptable. We did take photos and staff does not come around to ask if you need anything. Fast forward… my mom has been at Applegate around 2 months, she enjoys most of the activities. Unfortunately the food they serve there is ridiculously horrible. Canned and served cold veggies, dried chicken and other meats. The sides are flavorless. Then the staff leaves and offers no way back to there apartments…. They just sit there!!

Personal experience. I would not recomend this facility to anybody.
