My sister and I recently toured this Arbor Terrace Fulton senior living while exploring options for our father, and overall, we had a very positive experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming rather than clinical or institutional. The staff took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly and didn't make us feel rushed. They explained the different levels of care, daily routines, dining options, and activities in a way that was clear and reassuring. It was evident that they genuinely care about the residents and prioritize both safety and quality of life. The facility itself was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Common areas were bright and inviting, and we appreciated seeing residents engaged in activities and socializing. The dining area felt more like a restaurant than a cafeteria, which was a nice touch. We also liked that they offered a variety of activities and programs to keep residents active and socially connected. That was important to us because we want our father to feel part of a community, not just cared for. Overall, our visit left us feeling comfortable and more confident about considering this facility.

The staff at Arbor Terrace do a wonderful job of compassionately caring for my mother in Evergeen memory care. The Evergreen director, Yvette, has fostered a peaceful environment with dedicated, kind and attentive caregivers that focus on providing personalized care to meet the needs of each resident. She and the staff are communicative and readily available to answer questions and provide guidance. I feel safe in the knowledge that my mother is receiving excellent care at Arbor Terrace

Words can't describe how grateful we are for the staff and Leadership at Arbor Terrace. Our mom has been there for a few years in the Evergreen wing. It would be impossible for us to care for her like the staff does. Their attention to detail and care is amazing. Yvette's leadership is evident in the way the staff cares for our mom. They are sweet, attentive, patient, and thorough. Yvette always greets us with a smile. She always responds to any concerns, and is proactive with mom's development. There are many activities throughout the day and the residents are encouraged to be in the common area. Thank you to everyone at Arbor Terrace. We could not so this without you. Mark Stevens and family.

I am an 87 year old retired trauma surgeon, now a resident (not as a medical resident!) at Arbor Terrace Fulton, Maryland. Over these decades, both in medicine and in life, I have seen eldercare in a wide variety of settings in this country and elsewhere in the world. There have been some fantastic developments along those years that have made some interesting changes I want to acknowledge. My first surgical position was at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, DC, where one of my patients was John Hinckley, the man who shot and nearly killed President Ronald Reagan. Being around him was terrifying and to this day the worst experience in all possible ways. At the top is the experience at Arbor Terrace where the attention given to residents' comfort, dignity, personal care needs and emotional well-being is notably high and exemplary. What impresses me most here is the way staff relate to residents. Here patience, respect, and a natural warmth that never feels forced is standard behavior. I look at interactions which clearly feel less like staff and resident and more like the way one might speak and care for a beloved family member. This does not happen by accident but by deliberate choice. It reflects a culture, an attitude, that has been carefully created and maintained. It is built on an understanding clearly aware that caring for older adults involves far more than simply meeting physical needs, some of which are certainly difficult on their own. Most supportively, morality, dignity, and simple honest human connection are given honest and genuine importance here. In my experience, all that I see here is refreshingly uncommon, noticed and appreciated by someone in a position to recognize it, and is delighted to share good thoughts about it with you! Well done!! With Thanks and much respect, Dr. B

My wife Ellen and I have been residents of Arbor Terrace Fulton, MD for almost a year. Both the administration and workers at the facility are exceptionally kind and understanding with respect to the care and needs of Ellen, and for that I will be eternally grateful. The staff endeavors to keep its residents busy with a myriad of activities that include exercise and art classes, lectures, a variety of games, field trips, and movies. However, the best of the best took place on 12/19/25 when Arbor Terrace hosted its annual Christmas party for residents and their families. All three floors of the building were filled with musical entertainment, superb food and drinks, and good cheer. For two hours Arbor Terrace residents and their families truly experienced "the most wonderful time of the year." The party was a herculean undertaking, but it resulted in bringing joy (and innumerable smiles) to everyone who attended. To Farah and her wonderful staff, THANK YOU! Sam and Ellen Sheldon
