Arbor Terrace Prince William Commons

Recently visited Arbor Terrace Prince William Commons to visit a family friend. I was immediately impressed with how clean and well kept the lobby was and the smell of fresh popcorn filled the air. Had questions while there on how things are done for the residents and the staff was extremely friendly and answered all questions. Residents are always given options on different things to do so they can maintain a good lifestyle and not just a place to stay. I think this is a reflection of a staff and management that care for their residents. Overall a great experience and I will recommend them to anyone looking for this kind of services

My experience has been much more pleasant than I was looking for. I did not want to come here, but It surprised me how much I like this place, the people are very friendly, the workers and the residents . Everyone in this building is very upbeat and with a smile and not afraid to say Hello. In the dining room people I’ve never met before , came up to me and said Hi and started really great conversations. The nursing staff and the PT I love ! I love Sam! I love Karen ! Ashley does day time during the week in the Kitchen as a server, I love her ! She’s very nice, she’ll help me order what I want. She’s very sociable and nice. The engagement team is very lovely, always with a smiling grin and very open I love when Alan sings the oldies for activities. He was also very welcoming when I first moved here. The activities here are nice, I need to go to more of them. Last Thursday we went to Hobby Lobby and I had a blast ! I really like this place and I enjoy my being here. It keeps surprising me how much I feel good here. My sister is also surprised of how much I like it here!

Arbor Terrace has given me an opportunity to enjoy wonderful events with my husband. The engagement team has done a great job at the last Valentine’s event. Arbor Terrace provided wonderful food for us, residents, and the staff always have a smile on their faces. My husband and I enjoy participating and being active in the community, and we look forward to the next upcoming events.

There's so much love in this building. My day starts with the wonderful CNAs who bring me my daily activity sheet, and from there I can already feel the sense of care and kindness that exists among the residents and the staff who work hard to make our lives pleasant. It's a genuine feeling that I get to experience every single day. We recently had our annual Christmas event, which was beautifully executed by Janelle, our Engagement Director. She brought in live musicians who sang for us, and the building was filled with lovely decorations that truly captured the Christmas spirit at Arbor Terrace. The activities I enjoy the most are the musical ones, so l always look forward to Happy Hours with Alan, one of the Activity Coordinators and a very talented musician. Others who make my days brighter at Arbor Terrace are Andy and Richard from the Maintenance Department, who are always pleasant, friendly, and enjoyable to talk to. One area that could sometimes use improvement is the food wait times, as service can sometimes be a bit slow. That said, our Dining Director does a great job, and the servers are kind, hardworking, and attentive, which I truly appreciate.

This month we had a wonderful holiday party. The staff did a great job being available ensuring that there was enough food and drinks. The prime rib that was served was outstanding and I look forward to our next big event! The professional carolers and piano player that came was a very nice touch. The events are always great, interesting and has something for everyone to do. The activities daily have a great variety that allows people to do what they want. The staff makes this place feel like home.
