As soon as I entered the building, i was greeted with lively smiles and good energy. Every member of staff seemed very happy to help with any concerns I had or even have a friendly chat. The ambiance and aesthetic of this place is similar to a luxury hotel, and everything is always spotlessly clean. As for the food, the food is very good and the service is even better.

After we paid the" move in fee" we were told that my mother was not eligible to live there. I think the wording on their contract should be changed to "application fee" which would be more accurate. The director of the facility was an hour late for our initial meeting yet we thought the place looked nice so we decided to proceed. After filling out the initial paperwork and disclosing my mother had dementia we went through the process and paid the "move in fee" thinking all would be fine. The day before her move in date they told us she couldn't live there. I sent a text to the director asking for a return of the money since she was not moving in and the initial response was that the fee was non refundable . After raising a bit of a stink I was told I'd get half back. Most elderly people do not have spare funds to just hand out and this includes my mother. Why not just take move in fees all day long and reject them after and keep the money? Sounds like an easy way to make money. If you're looking for a place for your loved ones there are plenty of places that will not charge you a fee until they have approved them to live there. Fortunately we found a nicer place and my mother is happy. Happy yet 500 dollars poorer. I guess even when it comes to the elderly everything is a racket.

We had an appointment with Michael that we made 2 weeks in advance. When we arrived, a worker said that he would be out in a couple of minutes. 25 minutes later, we got her attention again and she said that he wasn't there but he should be soon. Another 25 minutes went by and he finally showed up. My husband and I toured this place on a Friday afternoon for my mother-in-law. Michael explained that the rooms go fast and we needed to provide a "move-in" fee of $1,000. We gave him the money and he said that he would come by the house Monday morning to talk with and assess my mother-in-law. He did and we gave him the paperwork. There was a problem with one of the forms so we went back to the doctor and have him the corrected paperwork the next day. The morning after, Wednesday, he called and said she didn't qualify and that he would not be returning the "move-in" fee. This is just disgusting to steal from a 78 year old woman. I have talked with several other facilities since then and they have all agreed that he should have returned the money due to the fact that it was only a couple of days, he never explained it was nonrefundable, and they were the ones that declined the move. Be careful, Michael is a talker and but is unwilling to explain the relevant information.

Love this facility, I am a nurse that has been seeing patients here for over a year. The staff is friendly and very caring. I've gotten to know all of the staff and would trust them w my family. I truly enjoy coming here to see my patients. The new owner is also very kind and making many wonderful updates to the building. This is a great place to send your loved ones if they should ever need care.
