Arcadia Of Denton Ii

I recently had a loved one placed at Arcadia and so far they have far exceeded my expectations. He is a total care patient and most places seem like they are ok with it but then that wears off. So far I have not seen that here. They have been so patient and kind with him. The place is always clean. The staff is the friendliest I have ever been around. You can tell they actually enjoy what they are doing and actually care about the residents.

At the end of July, 2023, Gloria Trossbach, had a fall that resulted in a fracture in her hip. She also has Dementia which is not a great mix with physical and occupational therapy. After a week stay at an in-patient rehab, they were ready to discharge her, making all the preparations for her to return home. Her daughter still works 3 days a week and is active in our local fire department. Gloria was non weight bearing at this time. For her and my safety, I refused her return to home. I sent messages to local assisted living homes. Shannon from Arcadia was the first to respond. She was so helpful and in two days, Gloria was admitted to Arcadia Ii in Denton. She was able to continue receiving therapy. After a two month stay, we felt we could safely care for her at home. Thank you, Arcadia for taking such good care of Gloria and loving her like we do. The hip is not completely healed, but we are managing pretty good at home. Her Dementia was a challenge when we got home as she had been moved around quite a bit. Today, she has re-acclimated herself to home. A stay at Arcadia was just what she needed to allow more time for the hip to heal. The staff was great and it was great getting to know the other residents. I loved visiting in the afternoon as the aroma from the preparation of supper filled the room. Again, thank you!! I highly recommend Arcadia homes, whether for a short stay or a permanent move!

We were looking for Assisted Living for our mother and she was a patient in the hospital and Shannon came in and helped us get everything together within one afternoon! It was a smooth transition for our mom and she has adjusted very well! Every one of our family members who have stopped by remark on the kindness of everyone there and how nice of a facility it is. We are more than pleased with our choice and the easy adjustment she has made ! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for placement to consider this organization !

Arcadia far exceeded our expectations! I can not say enough about how everyone makes you feel like family. They provided top quality care for our loved one as well as always being concerned for our entire family. I highly recommend Arcadia.
