We are delighted to have discovered the perfect place for our 100 year old mother with advanced dementia. First impressions count: from the very warm welcome from Reyce who gave us a tour, introducing the smiling staff and explaining AC’s unique approach to memory care, convinced us that this was #1. We canceled visits to other residences and selected a room for Mom the same day and couldn’t be happier.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently moved my aunt to Arden Courts of West Orange from another facility because I knew she would be well cared for and safe. My decision came easily, as my mother was also a resident here eight years ago and received the most exceptional care. The staff at Arden Courts are compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to creating a loving, supportive environment for their residents. It’s clear that everyone here takes pride in what they do — from the way they engage with residents to how they communicate with families. I have peace of mind knowing my aunt is in such good hands. Arden Courts truly feels like family, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

We moved our father to Arden Courts West Orange in late December and are happy with the decision. The staff are great: front office, nurses, caregivers and beyond. They really smoothed the transition for Dad. They know all of the residents — their personalities and preferences — and seem to genuinely care for them. The residents’ family members are also lovely — welcoming and generous in sharing information. The facility is clean, homey and well run. It feels like a real community. We are reassured to know Dad is in such warm and capable hands.

Dad had always lived with me after his Alzheimer’s dementia diagnosis. My family and I were able to take care of him the best we could but as his dementia progressed, we had to make the tough decision to look for a place for him because everyone worked full time or was at school. My really good friend recommended West Orange Arden Courts and introduced Jeanette to us. Jeanette was so knowledgeable, understanding and kind. She thoroughly walked us through options, explaining to my sister and I. I especially liked the fact that everything was inclusive making the decisions so much easier for us. Other places made it seem like we had to pick and choose what we wanted and how we wanted them to care for Dad. I’ve never left Dad in the care of anyone but after visiting him several times, I was totally at ease with our decision. Jeanette was always checking up on Dad making sure he was getting settled. She even introduced him to another gentleman who was there who spoke Chinese. Jeanette and her team were able to coordinate with Dad’s health insurance coverage and there was minimal for us to manage. This is a smooth running team and I am forever grateful for their kind care of Dad. I highly recommend West Orange Arden Courts and having Jeanette on your team when it comes time to look for a place for your parents. Arden Courts in West Orange was recommended to our family as we were looking for a facility for our father who was suffering from dementia and had reached a point where he needed full time care. In hindsight we’re very pleased we made the difficult decision to move him in. From the first time we spoke with Jeanette and she thoroughly explained everything we needed to know about Arden Courts and all they had to offer, to her patience and staying in touch as we deliberated for months, she made the decision easier for us which was much appreciated. She and Kathryn were both so helpful with any questions or concerns we had. The staff and nurses do such a great job caring for and making all the residents comfortable and engaged, with all the different activities offered throughout each day. We were very impressed how all the nurses knew how to satisfy the many different needs of each resident depending on their condition. Our family is grateful to all at Arden Court for making sure our father was so well cared for in his final months.
