Ark of Caring Assisted Living Home

Terrible service. Clear trip and fall hazards at main entrance. Owner does not care. You know what youve done or HAVENT lady. Shame on you.

There is no way I can accurately express the level of care and professionalism that Lawanna and the entire Ark of Caring team display for their residents. We had to move my grandmother in to Ark of Caring with limited notice or time to prepare and most of our family being 2500 miles away out of state during the move. We weren't getting a lot of communication from the hospital prior and I'm not sure how we would have navigated it all with out Lawanna and her amazing team. At each point in the process the Ark of Caring team took extra care to ensure our family was prepared for the next steps and that my Grandmother was well cared for. The advance nurse at Ark of Caring prepared us for everything my grandmother would need in her new home. Lawanna oversaw all the logistical needs from equipment and prescriptions to medical transport for doctor's appointments. Dale was there to support on move in day and the nurses were so gracious and caring. While I was fortunate enough to be able to be there for move in week and get to see the level of dedication and care for their residents first hand. But what really impressed me was the frequent communication Lawanna ensured that we had while my grandmother lived there. Even being out of state, we knew what was going on, if there were any medical concerns, if we needed to send more supplies or even if my grandmother was having a tough day and needed a visit or call. She did such a beautiful job of keeping my grandmother's care team including doctors, and our family (local and out of state) in communication each step of the way. No one wants to be researching Assisted Living homes for their loved ones. However, if you need so, I can't say enough great things about this team. We could rest easy knowing our family member was in a safe, clean and caring home.
