Asbury Solomons Island

We went on a very informative tour today with Asbury Solomons. It answered all of our questions. Confirmed this is at the top of our list thus far for continuing care communities. They keep up with maintenance. Programs and offerings, and the staff seem great.

The Asbury Solomons facility is incredible, and I highly recommend it. It's great that everything you need is in one spot, with shuttles to take you off campus if you need to go somewhere. It was really helpful that Jasmin and Diamond were very knowledgeable about the facility and all the services offered, and there are many options to choose from depending on your needs. Jasmin and Diamond knew everyone we passed in the halls, by name. Impressive.

My husband and I came here in Maryland from San Diego, California to live close to my son and his wife. We were pleasantly received by staff and residents! Asbury Solomons is like living on a cruise ship! Asbury Solomons has many various activities, good accommodations, and excellent dining experiences.

This retirement community is attractive, clean, and has a great location. As we arrived a bus full of residents had just returned from The Inner Harbor. They were all smiles as they descended from the bus....just in time for dinner. What a nice trip! We spent the afternoon/early evening with a family friend who resides here. She is happy to be living here. We enjoyed an outside stroll toward the waterfront as well as a meal in the Pub. The salmon was delicious! The menu had a variety of pub food, with a daily special. The dining room was clean, the wait staff was attentive, and the residents were extremely friendly.

My wife and I moved here in 2020, the middle of the pandemic. Asbury Solomons and its staff took great care of us then. Now that things are opening up more, I can only say this was the right move. Every day is better than the day before. The staff are great! The friends we have are fantastic! There is so much to do, and more importantly the projects you can contribute to are limitless. And as a bonus, the religious aspect, i.e. Bible Studies, Vespers, etc., is amazing. The Solomons area is like a small New England town. And I get to be out on the water or in the pool every day. This is a great place to retire to. The sooner you move here the happy you will be.
