Mom and Dad lived at the Ashford for the last year and a half of their lives. They both passed within 3 months of each other. During their time there, they received the absolute best care. The staff was knowledgeable and extremely kind. They were also patient during the times Mom and Dad became confused or upset because of their declining memory. I would highly recommend the Ashford for Assisted Living or Memory care. I always felt a warm welcome there.

My parents have lived at the Ashford since the Spring of 2023. My Mother passed from Alzheimers in February of 2024, my Father continues to reside there. The care at the Ashford really starts with the remarkable staff that is full of never ending smiles and compassion for those that live there. There is always a friendly smile, a kind word and they serve residents graciously. My mother's condition meant she needed additional care. It was always available by a professional and kind caregiver. I regularly visit the Ashford to see my Dad. He is happy, content and well cared for. The food service is always good and the kitchen staff and server's are full of smiles and friendly conversation. Every morning someone from activities stops and reviews the daily calendar for the days events. There are several special activities throughout the year; Pie Night, Veterans Recognition Days, July 4th activities, Halloween, Easter, Kentucky Derby, too many to mention. The facility is clean and beautifully maintained. There is a wonderful courtyard in the center the is perfect for visiting and families. We are grateful for the Ashford staff they always smile amd make the Ashford home for so many.

We moved my Dad into the Ashford 2 1/2 years ago and have been extremely satisfied with his living situation there. He is very happy! He loves his little home space there! We were immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the place. All of the employees treat him and the rest of us like family. They take really good care of him. I never have to worry because I know someone is in his room checking on him frequently to administer meds, or collect garbage, or wheel him down to meals. They take interest in him and are so friendly. They also have a huge array of fun activities and opportunities to get out to a variety of places. People living there are a highly social group and are super friendly. They also have many family centered activities that include family members. Finally, the food is delicious! They have a wide variety of food options and all the kitchen and servers are so nice and friendly! I love eating at the Ashford! My other favorite activity to attend with my dad is the monthly sing around the piano where we sing all the classic oldie but goodies! If you are looking for a lovely, caring, clean home environment for your loved one this is the place!!

My mom stayed here while recovering from surgery, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care she received. The staff was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made a stressful time much easier for our whole family. The facility was always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It gave us real peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. I would absolutely recommend this retirement home to anyone looking for quality care and a supportive environment.

I’ve seen firsthand the dedication my wife brings to her work at Ashford Assisted Living and Memory Care, and it’s clear how special this place is. The staff truly cares about the residents, treating them with respect, kindness, and genuine warmth. It’s comforting to know she works in such a supportive and compassionate environment, where every day she can make a real difference in people’s lives.
